I deleted the message from Brynn's phone so she wouldn't be able to see it.
Savage.
Soon Brynn came back and I acted as if nothing ever happened.
"What do you want to do?" Brynn questioned.
"Umm, I have no idea." I replied.
"We can go practice dance?" She suggested.
"Great idea!"
Brynn and I threw some dance wear on and each one of us brought a turnboard to my dance studio. (Aka just an empty room with a huge mirror) We practiced for about an hour and I improved a lot on my skills considering Brynn is way better than me at dance
No offense myself.
Suddenly the doorbell rang.
"Oh no, your mom is here." I say.
"Hide!" Brynn shouts as I giggle and we pretend to be five year olds again that every time a parent comes to get their kid, they hide.
"I feel so childish, Brynn." I whisper.
"Me too." Brynn whispers back.
Brynn and I peek from behind the couch to see what the moms are doing. Ashlee had just steeped foot inside the house and the moms were both talking.
"Let's wait until they start a topic so then we can come out and they won't stop talking." I suggest.
Brynn agreed to my idea and we waited until they were both deep in a conversation.
"Now let's come out" I whisper as both Brynn and I walk away from the back of the couch.
"Where have you been?" My mom asked.
"We were dancing." Brynn smiled.
Her smile is so cute I love it so much.
The moms talked for a while and were drinking coffee in the kitchen. While that was happening Brynn and I were talking while eating chips and sitting on the couch.
"Ding." Was heard from Brynn's phone a minute later.
"Who is it?" I ask as Brynn looks at her lock screen.
"Oh it's just Kenzie. I'll check what she wants later.
I randomly started sweating and my face became really red. That's what happens when I'm nervous. I hope it's not noticeable.
"Are you okay?" Brynn asked.
Yup, it's noticeable.
"Ya, I'm fine." I reply.
"Are you sure. You don't look alright. You're really red." She said touching my forehead making sure I don't have a fever.
"I'm sure..." I muttered nodding.
Brynn just silently nodded.
"It's time to go Brynn, pack your stuff." Ashlee said entering the room.
"Well I have to get going." Brynn said.
"Bye!" I say and hug her."I hope we stay friends forever. You're the best friend anyone could ever ask for." I added still hugging her.
"Aww, that's so sweet" Brynn said letting go."Bye." And with that she left.
Mackenzie please don't make my life miserable.
