Better than Maddie Ziegler

Chapter 7: I HAVE FANS!

This morning I woke up and got ready for dance. I put on my pink ALDC dance wear under and on top I put a black crop top that has the "🤘🏻" Emoji on it and slipped on my new purple Nike shoes. As I finished I ran downstairs to see my mom making breakfast.

"Hello sweetie" she told me.

"Hi" I say still very sleepy with no enthusiasm at all.

My mom gave me my bowl of cereal and I started eating it.

Suddenly my phone ringed. I checked the caller ID it was Mackenzie.

(M:Mackenzie E:Emma)

M:Hi Emma
E:Hi how are you
M:I'm good. Do you wanna come over to my house after dance and have a sleepover. By the way Brynn is also coming,
E:Ok wait a second let me just ask my mom.

I stopped talking to Kenzie and turned to my mom.

"Mom can I go over to Mackenzie's house after dance for a sleepover" I asked her with puppy dog eyes.

"Ya sure sweetheart" She replied

Yay I was so happy! I turned back to Mackenzie.

E:She said I can come!
M:Yay. After dance we will pick you up make sure to bring cool stuff that we can play with for the sleepover.
E:K
M:See ya at dance! Bye
E:Bye

I hang up and went upstairs to pack my sleepover bag. I put inside some pijamas, a toothbrush, another pair of clothes, extra dance clothes, my MacBook, my furby boom and some Uno cards because I mean she told me to bring something for us to play with.

I went downstairs and told my mom I was ready so we hopped in the car and started driving to the ALDC. I was holding three large bags my Dance bag, my lunch bag and my sleepover bag. Wow that's a lot of bags.

As I got there Abby told us our schedule it went like this;

7:00-7:30:Stretching
7:30-9:00:Group Dance
9:00-9:20:Snack Break
9:30-10:30:Kalani & Kenzies Duet/Jazz class for the others.
10:30-11:30:Maddie & I duet/Ballet class for the others
11:30-12:30:JoJo & Kendall's duet/Hip Hop class for the others.
12:30-2:00:Lunch Break
2:00-6:40:Interviews

And then we can go home. First we learned the group dance it was really fun. After a while it was snack break. Me, Kenzie and Brynn went to the Tumble track room to eat our snacks while all the other girls were at the Den.

K:Let's take a selfie.

Kenzie took her phone out and we all made duck lips and we all posted that picture on Instagram. After that we continued eating our snacks and talking. I had some strawberries dipped in chocolate for a snack. Kenzie had chips which I might have stolen half of! Brynn had a sandwich.

Soon JoJo came in telling us it was time for Jazz class. Later on we were all in Studio C ready for our Jazz class. Every one was there except Kenzie and Kalani because of course they were working on their duet.

The teacher was Ms. T and she was really nice and we learned really fast and learned a lot of new things. Then it was time for me and Maddie's duet.

Once it was time Maddie and I met up at studio A to see a grumpy looking Abby. I mean she always looks grumpy so it's not really a change.

"Ok girls get to work" Abby clapped her hands together and started teaching us the choreography.

The name of this dance was called Unbreak my Heart and it was a beautiful lyrical dance
with a lot of emotion.

I started of with my starting position did a kick up and then a backhand spring while Maddie did a leg hold turn and then together both of us did five foutês into a calypso leap. Then we had a few more dance moves until time was over.

It was finally lunch time! I was so tired. Brynn, Mackenzie and I decided we wanted to go have lunch at the mall across the street. We hover boarded over to the mall and decided we wanted to go eat at KFC. As we were walking there I saw some fans approach to us. They were 3 girls at around the age of 11 and 1 of them was crying.

The one on the left side had very light blond hair with green eyes.

The one in the middle had brunette hair and hazel eyes and the one on the right had ombré hair with blue eyes and she was the one who was crying.

"Omg you guys are the girls from dance moms!!!"The girl with Brunette hair screamed.

"By the way my name is Alexa" She continued .

"I am Liv" said the one with Ombré hair.

"And I'm Taylor" said the one with blond hair.

"It's so nice to meet you guys!"Mackenzie told them as she hugged them.

"Who are you?" Liv asked me.

"You'll see when this week's episode comes out." I replied to her.

Then she started screaming and hugged me as I hugged her back. She obviously understood I was gonna be on the show for a while.

"Can we take a selfie with you guys" Said Alexa almost in tears now as she took out her phone.

"Sure" Brynn said as we all posed for the picture.

"Thank you so much" Said Taylor as they walked away.

"Well that was fun!" I told Kenzie and Brynn.

"Get used to it" Brynn said with some giggles.

"I'm not even a permanent member of the team. I'm just a guest until Abby wants to get rid of me. " I told kinda sadly but hid my feelings.

"The auditions for season 7 are coming up soon you should audition if you want a permanent spot on the team" Kenzie told me.

"Ya.. I'm gonna miss you tho" I hugged her

She was leaving LA with Maddie and Melissa they were going to go back to living in Pittsburgh to move on to bigger opportunities.

"I'm gonna miss you soooo much I can't believe your leaving in a week!" Brynn exclaimed sadly as she hugged Kenzie.

"Chill I'm not leaving tomorrow" Mackenzie gave us a fake laugh.

Once we got there we ate and talked about the most random things.

I was having a lot of fun with them.

Once we got to the studio it was time for interviews. There was a closet full of clothes and the stylist would pick something for us we would put it in then they would do our hair and makeup. After all that jazz I looked really pretty and as I looked to Abby she smiled at me. I smiled back and let the stylist fix my makeup a bit more.

When everyone was done we sat on some leather chairs while someone was inside the green screen room recording the interviews. I was really nervous but also very excited.

"Mackenzie Ziegler" one of the producers called out as she started standing up.

"Good luck" I told her.

"You'll see its nothing special or too hard don't be nervous." She smiled at me probably knowing how nervous I was.

After a while Mackenzie came back into the room normally and told me I was next.

"Emma Taylor" The producer called out as I walked into the green screen room to film my interview.
