Chapter 11: Ding

Maddie's POV

"Kenz do you like Emma?" I asked her

She looked at me straight in the eye and the looked down.

"Yea." She replied blankly still looking down.

"Then why have you been so rude to her?"

"I don't know actually I feel horrible"she responded sadly.

She knows herself that it was because she was jealous and she didn't want to loose Brynn's friendship.

I left the room to let her think about what she has done and so she can apologize to Emma.

I went downstairs to the dance room and got back to dancing.

And grand jeté, El La second, front Ariel I thought to myself as I was practicing me and Emma's duet.

Straight legs and pointed legs I thought to myself.

Look at the judges said my inner voice. I did as it told me and looked at the awful blue painting of Judges drawn by as 7 year old Mackenzie.

That paining still made me laugh.

I finished the dance perfectly and even practiced walking of the "stage".

Now I decided to practice some gymnastics since I haven't done it in forever.

"Kenzie!" I screamed over the door.

"Ya?"Asked a faint voice also known as Kenzie. It sounded like she was crying.

I ran upstairs to her room and opened her door without knocking. What type of sister knocks on a door before coming in?

"Kenz are you crying?" I ask her.

Mackenzie covered her face with a pillow.

"No."she says barely audible.

"Are you sure your my ok?"

"Ya, I'm fine." She replies.

"Ok.... Anyway can I borrow your gymnastic mats?" I ask.

"There in my closet." She pointed to her walk in closet and on one side of it had a bunch of dance stuff.

I went in and grabbed a huge red soft mat and brought it downstairs.

"Is it this one?" I question trying to prank her to take the pillow of her face. (If that makes sense?)

She took it of for one split second.

Damn, she was crying.

"Maddie you tricked me!" She screamed.

I laughed and said bye to her before leaving her room and going back to the dance room.

First I'll start with something easy

I thought to myself as I was now in the dance room.

I went at the corner of the mat leaned backwards and did a back handspring step out.

Then I did a back tuck. Soon enough I was doing a bunch of complicated stuff like roundoff double back handspring back layout until I was tired to death.

I was sweating and couldn't do anything so I decided to just pause and go on my phone for a while.

I went upstairs with the big red mat and put it back in Kenzie's walk in closet.

She wasn't in the room so I figured she was in the living room.

After packing the soft red mat and putting it in Kenzie's closet I walked to my room and sat on my bed scrolling though Instagram.

I liked this fans post where they posted an edit of me and wrote a very sweet letter it read;
@madszieg4eva: Hey Maddie,
I know you will probably never read this because your too famous and talented and sweet. But I just wanted to tell you that I admire you and you are my idol and I don't know how life would be like with out you in this planet. I've never met you but it's my dream. You inspire me to dance and I hope ur having a great day. I love you so much.

That was so sweet.

I thought. I decided to comment because that was really sweet.

A few more scrolling through Instagram and twitter and then I decided to watch some YouTube videos.

As I scrolled through the recommended section on YouTube I found a slime video and decided to watch that.

Emma's POV

I was on my laptop watching pretty little liars when I heard a 'beep'

It was my phone. I put my macbook away and tried searching for my phone under the covers of my bed. I hate it when this happens.

It's so annoying.

I literally unfolded the whole bed and still couldn't find it.

"Bruhh" I groaned.

That's when I heard it beep again.
And again...
And again...
And again...

Oh ya I remeber where I put it. I walked to my desk and opened the second drawer and there it was.

I grabbed my phone and unlocked it.

I had 10 texts from Mackenzie.

Wow.
