She was burnt out by the day's activities. Finally she managed to finish her work for the day. It was only after 8 pm that she could leave her college, and her bed was the only line of vision. To crash and sleep. And as if tiredness evaporated from her every fibre, her energy refuelled when Daksh asked her to join him for dinner. She made sure to inform at home about her dinner plans. Within the next 30 minutes she was at his doorstep. He lived alone in his apartment, and unconventionally preferred a clean and organised set up. This was one of the many qualities she doted on. The house's atmosphere was warm and welcoming. He welcomed her with warm cosy hug, satiating her desire since time immemorial now. She reciprocated the hug with the same warmth, albeit a bit more tightly. As if time stopped and they stood hugging eachother in permanent. He asked her mockingly, "do you want to stand like this forever? Then who will hog over the food I have cooked.. Haan? I'm damn hungry. Come let's eat." She was split into two, a part of her wanted to just stand there forever and the rational part warned about confrontations and confessions. She smiled and agreed with her rational side and went inside.

She was surprised to find all her favourite dishes spread across the table beautifully, she asked him "whats the need for all this?" with tears brimming in her eyes to which he replied mockingly, "oh halo madam, don't fly too much don't forget that these are my favourite too". She narrowed her eyes giving him a how unromantic look. "Ok now enough of talking come let's eat", he added. Out of habit he spooned the first bite for her, and asked her how is it? She nodded her head in a funny way with mouthful of food. After swallowing the food, she mouthed "man it's scrumptious you have become a great cook haan, not bad". He replied with an attitude "finally you accept".

Soon they finished their dinner, while eating he asked her to stay back as it was getting late, she hesitated a bit but to her shock he winked and said "dont worry, nothing will happen between us, you know what i mean". She was that shocked and her reaction was a perfect o shape of her lips. She called home to inform about her stay in her friend's place. They decided to watch "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" seated comfortably with Daksh's arm around her and her head in the crook of his shoulder. Daksh was constantly playing with her hair and also carressing her forehead. She needn't have told him, but he still knew; all the college responsibilities was taking a toll on her; and to ease her from all the stress, he had planned the evening. And as planned, she was having the most carefree evening in what seemed to her like ages. His presence was all it took and the most pathetic day could turn into a bliss, and tonight it was all about them, it was her fairytale come alive. Seeing her tired frowns he pecked her forehead lovingly. Soon the frown changed into a beautiful smile. Knowing that she had slept, he carried her to his bed and laid her comfortably covering her with a duvet. Later he made himself comfortable on his couch.

It was 6.30 in the morning when the Queen in the bed opened her droopy eyes. She got up to  notice her surrounding and realised that she was at Daksh's place, her lips tugged in a dreamy smile remniscing last night's events. She quickly got up from the bed, freshened and witnessed the vision of Daskh sleeping peacefully like a kid. "Why are you so flawlessly adorable, why do i feel that i could watch you like this forever" her thoughts romanced his idea. She pecked his forehead and rushed into the kitchen to make her trademark coffee which was his favourite and omelette, bread and butter for breakfast. She laid the breakfast on the table and left a note "breakfast and you favorite coffee is ready. See you at college. Love Anika". Soon after she left, he woke up and lazily got off the couch and rushed to the gym. After returning from the gym and freshening up he walked carelessly to the kitchen with the idea of gulping a glass of milk, but was pleasantly surprised to see the arrangement and the note. He smiled at her care lovingly. He quickly hogged over the breakfast, rejoiced his favorite coffee to the last drop. Soon he left for college after praying for Anika's success for the upcoming farewell party.
