A year back, Mehta Mansion

She was in deep thoughts about her life, how it took a U turn and how it is back to square one.
What does one need to do to get over someone?
Only yesterday, she felt she was finally over him but today again he clouded her thoughts? She couldn't decipher any answer to her own questions. She was frustrated, she was fuming in anger, she was on the verge of crying and wanted to vent her frustration but what could come out of those, she had already done the crying thing and lost count on how many times nothing changed.
She was chewing on her nails amidst all the surge of emotions, staring into oblivion and started penning down all her confusions and feelings, just to get HIM out of her head, but heart?
Writing is not anew to her, apart from her work, she finds solace in books and music. Even a small random spurt of thought; scribbles its way in her dairies.  Though Rudra, her brother, was a human listener of all her views, thoughts and issues it was her dairies which her were truest confidante.

Present day, Mehta Mansion

He was pleasantly shocked to see the simplicity and well organized room he just foot in, the room though stocked minimally, but was beautiful. He complimented her by saying; the room looked as beautiful and simple as her. The genuine compliment made her blush. Shivaay Singh Oberoi was on a Mehta Mansion tour on request of his family members. He felt a little awkward at the start, but talking to her about random things and her nature of indulging meaningful conversations made him comfortable. The honesty in her eyes wasnt inescapable. Suddenly his phone started buzzing and he excused himself to attend the call. Meanwhile, she went to the dining to get some refreshments for them. By the time he was finished with the call she was missing, he quickly scanned the room and gravitated towards the room which she proudly called her mini-library. The books in the room were neatly stacked and categorized. One particular section, unlabelled, caught his attention. He randomly pulled out a diary, not knowing it was the diary she was pouring her heart to. He opened the page which read the title "Story close to the heart", though he seldom judged a book by its cover; he had a sudden urge to explore its contents. He flipped to the next page to continue reading when suddenly he heard footsteps nearing the door and he as if on impulse hid the dairy inside his jacket to read it later. He flashed his charming smile at her, as she approached with the tray of refreshments and she tried hard to hide the effect of his smile and eyed him to have a seat. With uninterrupted conversations on their likes, dislikes and views their beautiful journey of "friendship" began.
