I took a deep breathe as I looked at the steps leading up to the peculiar little apartment. Chiho smiled and started walking up the steps. I was about to follow when she let out a squeak and her foot slipped, falling backwards. She fell on top of me and we both went tumbling to the ground.
I lay on the ground and groaned, "Geez, Chi. You need to be more careful," I said as I stood up and dusted off my clothes and then offering her a hand to help her up as well. She laughed sheepishly as she took my hand and let me pull her back up.
"Sorry (Y/n), but I always fall on those steps, they're terrible things," she sighed. I smiled and rolled my eyes.
We started walking back up and got to the apartment door, successfully this time. Knocking lightly on the door Chiho called out,
"Mr. Maou? It's Chiho."The door opened and the guy with the dark hair and interesting red eyes from Mg Ronalds was smiling at us.
"Hey Chiho," she smiled and then turned to me, "And I presume this is the lovely (Y/n) you told me about?" he asked, still cheerful.
I nodded and stuck my hand out, "Pleased to meet you, Maou, I've heard a lot about you," I winked, smiling.
Chiho nudged me with her foot and laughed.
He opened the door further, "Please do come in!" He exclaimed and stepped back to let us in.
We both walked in and I looked around.
He stood next to us and rubbed the back of his neck, looking slightly embarrassed, "It's nothing special and it's kinda bare since we just sorta moved in, so yeah."
I smiled, "It's great, better than buying a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Trust me, a messy room is a nightmare to fix," I rolled my eyes.
Chi nodded in agreement and walked forward, plopping down by the table in the middle of the room. When she started patting the spot next to her I stepped forward and sat down, making myself comfortable.
Maou walked to the other side of the table and sat down as well.
Chi looked confused for a second and looked around. She turned back to Maou, "Where's Mr. Ashiya? Isn't he gonna be here tonight?" She asked.
Ashiya? Where have I heard that name before...?
Maou looked at the clock on the wall, "No, he is gonna be here, he just quickly ran to get something for dinner he didn't have," he gestured to the slow-boiling pot on the stove, "He should be back any minute now." He turned back to Chi.
As if it was a rehearsed play, not a minute later a blonde man burst through the door, "Sire! I have returned! I hope the guests aren't he-" he broke his words off when he saw me and Chi.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. How indecent of me, but I simply couldn't complete tonight's dinner without these mushrooms," he apologized.
Chi smiled at him, "No need to apologize Mr. Ashiya, it's not a big deal. Let me introduce you, Mr. Ashiya this is my good friend (Y/n) J was telling you about. And (Y/n) this is Mr. Maou's flatmate, Shiro Ashiya," she spoke.
I squinted at him for a second when it clicked, "Hey! I know you, you're that guy I ran into the other day when I was late for school!" I exclaimed, the recognition I felt making sense now.
He nodded, "Yes indeed, Miss (Y/n). I do hope you got to school on time even with our unfotunate accident?" He asked as he walked forward to the pot and placed the bag containing on the mushrooms on the counter.
I shrugged, "I was a bit late, but even without us bumping into each other I would've been late in any case," I laughed.
He smiled as he continued on with dinner. I turned back around and started talking to Chi and Maou about random things. Ashiya joined us later on when the dinner was well on it's way.
The rest of the night went great. The food was delicious and I'm glad to say that I approve of Maou. Chiho has made some good choices, I'm proud of her.
Later that night we said goodbye to the guys and I promised to come visit again.
While we were walking back I talked with Chi a little about school, nothing much.
At my house we said bye and I made her promise once again to be safe all the time. She just laughed and promised.
I trudged up the stairs feeling exhausted. My mum and dad were already in their rooms when I came in. I popped my head in their door to tell them that I was back and to say goodnight.
My mom wanted to know if it was fun and I told her it was great, but that I was going to bed now. We said goodnight to each other as I continued up the stairs to my room.
Falling down on my bed I was so glad tomorrow was a Saturday. Quickly getting up and getting ready for bed.
Afterwards I jumped back in bed and closed my eyes, falling asleep after a short while. Luckily sweet dreams followed.

Yay! So yeah, that was all for this chapter. You've now met the roommates and our purple haired friend should be coming in in the next chapter, so yaayyyy! Any how, have a lovely life until next time, and I'll catch you later, alligators!
