Backstage

I rushed to the bathroom after Camila found me and Shawn together in his bunk. I splashed my face with cold water which felt good. I heard them talking in the other room but couldn't make out what they were saying.

I have mixed feeling about Camila honestly. She seems rude but nice at the same time which is really confusing. Are me and Shawn dating? We did kiss in his bunk last night and he did kiss my forehead today as well.

I opened the door to the bathroom and got out running into Lauren. "Oh my gosh I'm sorry" she said "No I'm sorry I ran into you" I said. She smiles and walked by me.

I went to my bunk and just layed back and watched the cars go by as we drove to our destination.

We are now at the venue they are first going to play at and right now they are rehearsing. Me and Shawn sat backstage while the girls were out on the stage practicing.

"Shawn can we talk?" I say getting slightly nervous. "Yeah of course" he moves so he faces me. "What are we?" I look straight at his eyes "what do you mean?" "you know like um are we dating or are we just friends?" he looks down at the floor.

"We kissed yesterday but I didn't really ask you out" I felt embarrassed for even bringing this up. "Oh sorry I just thought be-" he started laughing "No Lana I didn't mean it like that. Look I like you so much like I just feel like I known you for so long when in reality we just met four months ago but Lana will you be my girlfriend?" I was shocked and happy at the same time.

My idol just asked me out. "Yes Shawn I will be your girlfriend" he smiles and I scoot over towards him and lay on his chest. He starts playing with my hair. "Your performing tomorrow " I look up and tell him. He smiles "I know I'm so excited and so happy that you'll be experiencing it from backstage". Before I can say anything the girls come back.

"Alright lovebirds Shawn its your turn" Ally says. I get off of him and sit down. "Come with me" he says and extends his arm. I grab his hand and walk out stage with him and admire how big it looks.

"Like it?" Shawn said behind me. I nodded and stared out thinking that I was once out there sitting and crying my eyes out because my idol is in the same room as me. Now I'm dating my idol.

"You can either sit up here or you can pick any chair out there" I decided sitting out in the crowd. I admired how he looked as he was singing Kid In Love. I was distracted by a message from
Lilian.

Are you and Shawn freaking Mendes dating?

Yes but don't tell anyone please.

Oh my gosh Lana. Your dating my freaking idol.

I know its crazy I can't seem to wrap it around my head either but I gotta go Shawn is practicing.

Your on tour with him?

Yes gotta go!

"Hey pretty thing in the crowd" Shawn said into the microphone I looked around pretending that he wasn't talking to me. Shawn started laughing and so did i. "What's up handsome man" I yelled. "Do you want to go out to eat?" "Right now?" he nods.

I can use some food right now.

We are now back from eating Chipotle with the girls. Shawn was out practicing and I was backstage with Camila.

"He's amazing isn't he?" she said out of nowhere. "Yeah he is he's so crazy talented" I say without staring at her. I could see her staring at me from the corner of my eye.

"You guys are dating aren't you?" I turn my head and look at her. "Yeah he asked me out today, why?" she looks down then out to Shawn. She shrugged her shoulders "just wondering". She gets up and goes out on stage.

"Go Canada!" she says and walks to Shawn. I stare as he stops and starts laughing. "Where's Lana?" he says and my heart skips a beat. "She's sitting backstage, why?" "Oh I just wanted her to come out here and watch me practice, I feel lonely out here without her" he lets out a small chuckle.

"Your not loney, I'm here" Camila says with a smile. Shawn lets out a small nervous laugh. "Well yeah but I want Lana here too" there was an awkward silence "oh okay I'll go get her". The thought of Shawn saying he felt lonely cause I wasn't there made me blush.

Camila walks in with a fake smile "Shawn wants you to go out there" "okay thanks" I say and get up. She lets me go first and she follows behind me. I walk out and make eye contact with Shawn and he smiles.

He grabs the microphone and puts his lips close to them. "There's my girl" I blush and laugh. I go up and hug him like I haven't seen him in the last 24 hours. I let go and sit down on one of the chairs. Camila sitting next to me.

He continues practicing, his voice killing me eveytime. "He's mine" I think I hear Camila say "Huh?" I say she looks at me "what? I didn't say anything" she says and smiles. I nod my head pretending like that didn't happen. Maybe I'm just being jealous. Camila seems like a really nice girl, her and Shawn are great friends but I shouldn't let that get me jealous because I'm the one dating him. Not her. I should just get out the thoughts of them ever dating and just enjoy this tour.

A/N: Kind of long update lol I'm exhausted and so tired. I'm taking care of a fake baby for one of my classes which is worth a lot of points and he kept me up all night crying. But anyways comment what you think will happen between Camila and Shawn and Camila and Lana. Do you think Shawn and Lana will last?
