It's the devil in your eyes that has me in much surprise. If I am to be frank; this feeling has me quite at home. You see, it is not angels we seek, but rather demons in others and demons within ourselves. We wish not to find solace in the good deeds, but rather to find comfort in the pain and shared anguish of another. Ask yourself have you ever felt completely and utterly connected with someone who has it all? Or rather find yourself feeling helplessly alone? I do not seek to see the angels of your daydreams, but rather the demons of your past. It is not the sun which lightens our path but the darkness which shows us where not to stray. I walk within and amongst the darkness; not feeling alone or frightened, but rather at home. I look at you and see that the shadows we find in our nightmares are only meant to comfort. The devil in your eyes knows me all too well, the angels in mine knows all too few. But it is quite humorous to add that you, the mysterious darkness, are but a perfect reflection of me. This mirror never seemed so clear...
