Chapter 55

Month-July

~Dannielle's POV~

The next morning we woke up super early, had breakfast and hit the road
We've been in the car for about 4 hours now. We've been listening to music, singing horribly, arguing over the dumbest shit and now we're playing This or That. Sammy was driving, I was still in the passenger seat and Rupp, Skate and Swazz were in the back.
"Dann!" Skate yelled "Sammy or me" He asked
"I can't answer that". I told him
"It's the game" Sammy spoke
"I guess I have to choose..." I was about to answer but got cut off by my phone ringing.
"Hold on! Bestfriend is facetiming" I said and answered the FaceTime call
"What up" Tez said as soon as the FaceTime connected
Tez and I have gotten pretty close since we've met, same thing with Sammy and Skate. Obviously we're not as close as me and the rest of the gang but still pretty close
"Hey bestie" I greeted him
"Where are you" Tez asked "I stopped by and you weren't home" He added
"I'm in a car with Sammy" I turned my camera on him and he flashed a quick peace sign "And Skate, Swazz and Rupp" I put the camera on them
"Where are you guys going?" He questioned
"Omaha" I answered
"And I wasn't invited" Tez pretended to be hurt and insulted
"To be honest, I rather have you here than Rupp" I told him
"I'm right here you know" Rupp said
"I know" I turned around and looked at him
"Damn why so salty" Dillon asked
"You woke me up 2 hours before we were actually supposed to wake up" I reminded him
"That explains everything" Tez laughed
"You still haven't answered the question" Swazz interjected
I rolled my eyes
"What question" Tez asked "I'm so confused I could cry"
"Dann has to answer who she likes more Sammy or Skate" Rupp answered for me
"Shut up Dill Pickle, he wasn't asking you" I told him
Swazz started laughing
"John, why are you even famous" I fake snapped at him which made him shut up
"For real though, who do you like more" Sammy's tone got serious
I got cut off again by another notification
"Tez I gotta go, Cam is trying to FaceTime me" I told him
"Boyfriend alert" He rolled his eyes "Call me back after though. I wanna know who you picked. Love ya."
"Love you too" And with that he ended our FaceTime.
I accepted Cam's FaceTime
"Allo baby" He smiled
"Ayo boo" I smiled back
"Ugh couples" Rupp made a fake puking sound
I turned back to look at him
"I'll shut up now" He said and turned to look out the window
"What did I miss" Cam asked
"Rupp is a dick" I told him
"What's new" Skate spoke
"True" I agreed
"For real, what did he do" Cam asked again
"He woke me up 2 hours before we actually had to leave" I responded
"That explains everything" He laughed
"That's exactly what Tez said" I cheesed
"Anyways I was just calling to say I miss you and I hope you're having fun, which I can now see that you are" Cam said
"I miss you too" I replied
"Oh and also I looked at your document that you send me with pictures from your project" He said "They look amazing and I can't wait to see them during the art gallery show" He added
"Thanks babe" I blew him a kiss "Did you show the others?" I asked him
"Obviously" Cam rolled his eyes playfully "They loved it" He told me
"Are you talking to Dann?" I heard a voice say
"Yeah why" Cam asked
Soon Hayes appeared on the screen
"Danny Poo" He squealed
"Haassey Poo" I mimicked him
"I misssssss youuuuu" He dragged his words
"I miss you too" I frowned
"We should hangout just the two of us when you get back" He suggested
"Yes!" I agreed "We haven't done that in awhile" I added
"Awesome" Hayes cheered
"Who are you talking to?" I heard another voice say
"Dann" Hayes answered
"I wanna say hi" The voice said and soon enough I was talking to Emily
Cam's phone was getting passed around and I ended up talking to everybody and before I knew it Skate took my phone and he talked to everybody then Swazz and so on so on
"Alright, we'll go to the studio as soon as we get back" Sammy told Johnson and Gilinsky
Finally Cam had his phone back and I had mine
"Hello again" I joked
"Nice to see you" Cam replied  "We gotta go to our last meeting but I'll call or text you later tonight" He told me
"Kay, love you" I said
"Love you too, bye" He responded
I ended our FaceTime and looked out the window to see that we had just arrived in Utah which means we've been traveling for exactly 12 hours. Only 11 more hours to go(A/N I just realized that I put 11 hours here so that would make 23 hours even though it takes 21 hours to go to Omaha. So now all the math in here is wrong, I'm sorry)
"I'm gonna take a nap to make time go by faster" I announced
I got a bunch of ok's as a response and I decided to put my headphones in and listened to Shawn while I try to fall asleep.
