Chapter 57

Month- September

~Dannielle's POV~

Well a lot has happened during the past month. Cam and I broke up and I am now dating Sammy, just like he predicted.

Jokes on you because that's not true. I'm still with Cam and we celebrated our 1 year not that long ago

***FLASHBACK***

Cam and I walked out of the restaurant he took me to. He grabbed my hand and led me to a beach that was nearby.
Once we got on the beach, I took my shoes off and so did Cam. I put my hair in a quick bun and he loosened his tie and unbuttoned a couple of his buttons, making his shirt a little bit looser as well.
"I can't believe it's already been a year" I smiled as we walked hand in hand along the waves of the night
"One amazing year" He corrected me
We kept walking, talking about the most random things and laughing at each other's dumb jokes.
We found a spot under a tree that was still very close to the ocean and decided to sit down
I sat down first and leaned my back on the tree trunk while Cam laid in between my legs, his head resting on my lap.
I ran my fingers through his hair and we sat in silence for a couple minutes enjoying each others company.
"You know what I love the most about us" Cam broke the silence
"What?" I asked
"The fact that we can get dressed up and go to a fancy dinner and then right after here we are on a beach, shoes off, my shirt undone, your hair is up." He answered
"It's always something that we've done" I said
"True" He agreed "But I don't know, that's always been something that I've enjoyed about us" He added
I nodded my head and bent down to kiss him
A couple more minutes of silence went by until Cam spoke again but this time he sat up to face me
He cleared his threat and put his hand in his pocket.
"Dannielle, I love you so much and I want to thank you for an amazing year well spent with you as my girlfriend. We've had a couple bumps here and there but it was still one of the best years of my life" Cam started "I'm starting to feel like that one guy who has been married at least 5 times and he's barely 30 but that's not the point" He continued and I laughed. Cam took a box out of his pocket and opened it. "This is a promise ring. I promise that no matter what happens I will always be there for you and I will always love you. Whether we're together or not, I'm going to be that one person you can count on for anything and everything. Lastly, I promise to love you unconditionally and support you in all the ways I can." He finished
Cam grabbed the ring and put it on my finger
It was rose gold and had a heart in the middle where you can see C.D+D.L engraved. On the inside our anniversary date was also engraved (Pictures below) ~A/N For the promise ring I put a little bit of everything in it so I went online and found some pictures for each thing I described. Basically imagine all the pictures below put together to create that ring~
