CHAPTER 6

~Nash's POV~

Day two of seeing Gabrielle. She is amazing and I can't wait to get to know her. Im planning on asking her out but I'm not quite sure how to yet.
­­''We're here'' Carter yelled snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked to see that we were at the hotel. We all got out and headed backstage. We still had about 4 hours until the meet&greet actually started. I sat down and talked with the guys, we were trying to figure out what we should.
"We could do some kind of challenge" Johnson said
"Yeah, because we never do challenges" Matthew replied sarcastically
"Shut up bro" Johnson replied
"We should do one. But it has to be new." I spoke
"Touch my body?" Taylor questioned
"Did it" Aaron, Grayson, Ethan, Kian and JC said
"7 seconds?" Gilinsky suggested
"That would be fun" Cameron said even though he already did one with Kian.
"Yeah and we could get the fans to tell us what to do" Hayes added, we all agreed
"Okay, so we do the challenge then Jack and Jack sing their songs and then we can have Tay and Cam sing theirs, a little Q&A and finish off with dances" I said, running through our schedule for tomorrow.
"Yep, sounds like a plan" Cam said
"Stan" Jake finished
I decided to text Gabrielle

Nash-HeyHeyHey
She replied almost immediately
Gab-Good morning
I laughed because it was like noon
Gab-Afternoon***
Nash-That's what I thought
Gab-It's not my fault we slept in
Nash-Never said it was
Gab-I can't wait for the meet&greet
Nash-Me either
She was replying but I beat her to it
Nash-Lets FaceTime
Gab-And why should we?
She teased
Nash-I wanna see your pretty face
Gab-Likewise

Soon enough I was accepting her FaceTime request
"Hello" I greeted her
"Hi" She smiled
I was going to say something but she shushed me so I kept quiet.
"Texting your lover I see" I heard Dannielles' voice
"At least we didn't stay up half of the night talking" Gabrielle smirked to her
So that's why Cam was on his phone for most of the night
"Well it was nice talking to Cameron for your information" Dannielle said
"Cameron? Since when do you call him that?" Gab asked her
Now that I think about it Cameron sounds really sophisticated
"I don't know, that is his name" Dann said in a duh voice. This is the perfect time for me to make an appearance
"Sass queen is here everybody" I yelled
Dannielle face popped up in the screen
"How long have you been there?" She asked me
"Long enough to know that you like Cam" I chuckled
"No, shit! He's one of my biggest idols" She replied covering up
"You can't cover this one up, with that excuse" Gab told her
"Whatever! I gotta go get ready" Dannielle left
Gab and I kept talking until we had to stop for  couple of minutes when LOX came to ask me what was the soundtrack for tomorrow's event. When I finished with Mahogany, we kept texting.
"Is that okay?" I heard Cam ask. I didnt hear what he said before so I just nodded and went back to texting Gabrielle. I looked up from my phone and saw Cam calling and texting somebody.
"Finally" He exclaimed
Im guessing he got a hold of the person he was trying to talk to. He talked a bit more then hung up. He turned to me.
"You wanna come with me to get Dann and Gab" He asked
Of course!!! I'm glad they were coming sooner
"Sorry, Cam but Nash has to come help me set things up... Right Nash?" My dad said
"Yeah" I mumbled
"I'll go" Grayson said and I nodded my head before following my dad to where he needed me.
"Help Marc with the posters please" He said pointing to where I'm guessing the pictures are gonna be taken. I did as I was told and surprisingly it didn't take that long. I looked around for my dad and went up to him
"Can I go back, the girls should be here now?" I asked him
"Girls?" He asked me
"The girls Cam and Grayson went to go and get" I answered
"The girls you guys met yesterday and like?" He asked acting clueless
"Yeah" I blushed
"What are their names again?"
"Mines Gabrielle and Cameron's Dannielle" I replied
He nodded
"Would it be okay if I go out Sunday?" I asked, figuring it would be yes
"AW! Is my wittle Nashy asking a girl out" He teased
"Dad!" I whined
"Yeah, it's okay" He chuckled "Now go get your lady" He said pushing towards backstage. I laughed.
Well here it goes. I'm gonna ask her out. I'm gonna walk up to her and ask her. She'll say yes, right. RIGHT? I mean, I think she likes me... We'll see
I arrive backstage and I'm greeted by Grayson totally flirting with Gabrielle. That little punk thinks he can steal her away from me.
"What is going on here" I asked him through my teeth
Grayson's eyes widened when he saw me and quickly removed his hand from Gabrielles' knee.
"Look bro... Nothing's going, I swear" He said putting his hands up in defeat.
"Well it sure as hell looks like you're flirting with the girl I like" I yelled, clenching my fist
"Well you don't own her, now do you" He yelled back standing up
I didn't say anything, I looked at Gabrielle who was just shocked.
"Plus she didn't seem to mind" He snickered
Gabs eyes widened and she shook her head, tears coming down her face. That's it!
I tackled him to the ground and punched him in the face. He reacted fast and punched me in the stomach. While I caught my breath, he flipped us over and tried to punch me but I dodged it. I kneed him in the groin. We kept throwing punches until someone got me off of him. I look up to see JC and Kian. I see that Grayson is being held back by Ethan and Carter. I got out of their grips and sat down on a seat. Grayson sat on the seat across from me and I glared at him furiously. He did the same. I caught a glimpse of Gabrielle in the corner of my eye and saw that she was staring into space in between the two of us.
I just couldn't believe one of my own friends, no BROTHER would betray me like that. He knew I liked her. He knew I wan-My thoughts got cut off by a cute couple like Dannielle and Cameron coming into the room.
"Hey!" Everyone greeted them, trying to ignore what just happened
"Hey! How are you guys?" Dann asked
Could be better...
"Great, now that I just witnessed the first Camelle moment" Hayes said
"Camelle? What's that?" She asked
"Dannielle and Cameron. Cameron and Dannielle. We ship Camelle" JC answered
She didn't say anything back.
"Dude, shut up" Cam said once he saw her reaction
"What, you didn't ask her out yet?" Ethan spoke up
He was going to respond but Dannielle replied instead
"No! He did. I just get shy around that kind of stuff... Especially when it involves one of the people I love the most" She said looking up at Cam who had a huge smile on his face. He grabbed her hand.
"#Camelle moment number 2" Johnson said as Tay did the hashtag sign
"Enough talk about Camelle. Who here ships Gash? Because I'm shipping them pretty hard" Dannielle said, changing the subject.
Gash? Oh, I get it now! Gabrielle and Nash. Nash and Gabrielle. It makes Gash. Yeah that's not gonna happen any time soon. I looked at everyone and they just looked down, not answering her question. I caught Dannielle looking from me to Grayson to Gabrielle. Cam is doing the same. They could probably feel the tension in the air now.
"Did we miss anything?" Cam spoke
Nobody answered
"Why don't you ask Gabison over there" I huffed and Grayson snorted
Dannielle looked at Gabrielle who mouthed later. Im guessing she didn't like that answer because she went up to her
"Bathroom, now" Dannielle demanded, Gab didn't say anything but got up
"Its down the hall to your left" Matt instructed
They left. Cam came up to me.
"What happened?" He questioned
"Well I helped my dad out up front and then when I was done, I figured that you and Grayson would be back with Gabrielle and Dannielle. So I went backstage to find you guys but instead I find a little Grayson Dolan flirting with Gabrielle. I mean my own friend who's more like a brother, did that to me. Not only did he flirt with the girl he knew I liked but he tried to make nothing out of it and deny it. Then he said I didn't own her and that she liked it, which made her cry. That's when I had enough and I tackled him. We fought until Carter, Ethan, Kian and JC broke us apart" I explained letting it all out
"Seriously? Wow! Thats low" Cam said shocked "Sorry I wasn't there to back you up"
"It's fine! You were busy with Dannielle." He looked down "You did actually ask her out, right?" I asked
"Yep!" He smiled
"So when is the big day" I asked, his smile dropped from his face
"Freak" He sighed
"What is this girl doing to you?" I asked
He was going to answer but he suddenly stood up straighter and looked in front of him. I turned and saw Grayson coming towards us.
"Calm down" I whispered, he relaxed his muscles
"Ill help you this time" He whispered back
Grayson stopped in front of me and took a deep breath
"Look Nash, I'm very very very sorry for what I did. I should've not done that, especially when I know that you are crazy for her. Then saying that she liked it and making her cry was a shitty move. I don't even know why I did that, she likes you so much and you like her so much, I had no chance" He talked fast but clearly. I got up and smiled
"I accept your apology and I'm glad you know that you have zero chance of getting between me and Gabrielle" I cheesed hugging him
We broke apart and I saw Gabrielle running to me. She jumped in my arms wrapping her legs around my waist.
"You're not mad?" She asked me
"No, of course not!" I responded surprised "Are you mad at me?" I asked
"Nope"
"Good because do you know how weird it would have been going to dinner all alone Sunday?" I said, feeling a HUGE weight being lifted of my shoulders. I did it, I asked her out!
"Our first date I see" She smiled so wide
I nodded and let her on her own two feet. I grabbed her hand and we went to a couch.
