~Chapter Seven~

Izaya sighed and sucked on the lollipop he had in his mouth. He could clearly see Tuno as she waited for Sakura. He smirked when she balanced on the electrical wire.

"This is interesting."

Tuno's POV

"Izaya!" Namie called.

"What?"

"There are two bloody people at your door!"

My head was pounding. Shizuo had jumped into my fight with Sakura after she had chased me away from Izaya's window, and he dragged me back to the office. He did injure Sakura beforehand, but I didn't know if she was worse than me.

I clung to Shizuo like he was the only thing keeping me alive. His arm was tight around my waist as he tried to keep me on my feet.

"What 'bloody people' are you referring to, Namie?" Izaya asked, appearing behind Namie. "Holy Shit! What the hell happened?" He screamed when he saw me.

Blood was dripping down my face and arm, and my legs weren't in good shape either. I could feel pain in my torso, but I couldn't tell what it was from. I knew it wasn't any internal damage though.

"Sakura. Fight. Bad." I croaked.

Even my voice was thrown off.

"Give her to me." Izaya pleaded.

"No!" I screamed when he tried to take me from Shizuo. "Blood! Clothes.....get......dirty!"

"Shut up about that! It's just clothes! I can get new ones!" Izaya snapped.

Shizuo didn't let him touch me. "I would rather take her in. If she moves too much, she'll be in more pain. Shinra is on his way to take a look on her. Go throw something on the couch so it won't get dirty when I put her there." He said.

Izaya mumbled something and walked ahead of us. Namie nearly shrieked when I coughed up blood. "Clean that up!" Izaya ordered, hearing the splatter the blood caused as it hit the floor.

We walked into Izaya's home. The main floor was a cross between the kitchen, his office, and a small living room section. Shizuo dragged me to the couch. Izaya had laid a blanket over it. I looked at him.

"Izaya...." I whispered.

I fell to the floor when I tried to walk to him. He sighed and picked me up. I snuggled against his chest when he sat on the couch, refusing to let go of me.

"Cuddle Bunny is in trouble, isn't she?" I muttered, looking at his face.

"Cuddle Bunny will be in trouble later. For now, shut up and don't scream." He answered.

I smiled and let him play with my hair.

Shinra said that my wounds weren't fatal. He wrapped them in bandages and left as fast as he came. I was happy about that.

"Get back here!"

"Catch me first!"

I laughed as Izaya tried to catch me. We were running around his home, ignoring Namie's comments and glares. She screamed when I jumped onto the table behind her. Izaya slammed into it right as I jumped away.

"Stop running! Dammit!" He growled.

I giggled. He knocked the table over and threw himself at me. I screamed when he grabbed me off of the second floor rail. We fell down to the first floor, and I slammed onto the floor. He landed on top of me, but he made it where I couldn't feel his weight.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine."

He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Fantastic!" He chuckled.

He jumped up when his computer made a weird noise. I rolled to my feet and followed him. He sat in his chair and stared at his computer. I looked out the window.

"I want a puppy." I mumbled, looking at the guy standing with the box of puppies.

"Then get one." Izaya replied.

"You don't mind?"

"No. Just take care of it."

I smiled and hugged him when he turned his chair to face me.

"Thank you!"

He chuckled and watched me as I ran out of the house.

"Ew! Who got that flea bag?" Namie screamed, glaring at the puppy as he chased his tail. She had left before I brought him home yesterday.

"He doesn't have fleas! And he is mine!" I snapped.

Izaya groaned and walked down the stairs. He was still in his night clothes.

"What's with the screaming?" He mumbled.

"Namie is making fun of Daisuke."

"Namie, stop bothering Tuno and the dog. Get to work."

She mumbled something and went to work. Izaya stood behind the couch and laid his hands on my shoulders.

"Have fun with the puppy. I've got errands to run." He said, kissing my cheek.

"You're not dressed." I replied, looking away from him.

He groaned and went back upstairs. I pulled the coffee table closer and messed with his chess board. I picked up Namie's piece and grabbed the box of matches. I lit one and threw the box to the side.

"Hey! Namie! Check this out!" I yelled.

She looked at me. I had held the match under her piece, and it was beginning to melt.

"Stop burning Namie!" Izaya snapped, returning to his earlier place.

"But she deserves it!" I pouted.

"That doesn't matter. You're burning my chess piece."

I sighed and put the flame out. He took the burning match and flicked it against the wall. It instantly went out.
