Make up (mini series p.3)

(Y/n) POV
     Its been a week since (c/n) started working with me, but he hasn't really made a move to get back together, I sort of appreciated this action but at the same time I wondered why not.
      I had just pulled up into the parking lot and got out of my car when I saw a car pull up next to mine, 'Looks like (c/n)' and I was right. He got out of his car waving at me, "Good morning (y/n)!" "Morning." I pulled out my work bag, shut my door and locked the car and he did the same. He walked at my side matching my strides with his own, "Do you get off the same time today as well?" "Yes, why?", I questioned him wondering what he had in his plans, "Would you mind......if we, if we go to a little cafe tonight?" I stopped in my tracks, "What do you plan to do?" "Just talk, that's all." "About?" "Can we just talk like before?", I pondered at his request. "(Y/n) you don't have to respond right away, take you're time just tell me later on today if you'd like to take my offer." He turned around and started walking to the store leaving a stunned and confused me.
       The day went by like a blur as I thought about taking his offer on dinner tonight, or that's what I thought it was. I was about to take the next costumer when one of my co-workers switched positions and told me to meet with the manager.
       As I made my way there I saw (c/n) on the way and he waved at me, 'Hmmmm, he sure acts different now.' I continued to make my way to the office and I saw the manager waiting by his office, "Good morning." I said as he turned to me, "Good morning. I have something very important to ask of you." "Sure, what is it?" "I would like to hear your take on becoming a supervisor. Would you like the spot?" I looked at him with wide eyes. "Really!" "Yes, you're one of my top workers and I think a higher raise for you is fitting." "Sir, I'd love to. When should I start?" "A week from today, I trust you will work hard for this store." "Yes I will, thank you!" He nodded and I smiled walking away and going back onto the cash register, 'Finally a raise in position and money.', throughout the rest of the day was spectacular until the day came to an end.
      "Hey wait up (y/n)!" I turned around to see (c/n) running towards me. "Have you thought about my offer, I didn't get a chance to really see you today." "Yeah I have, I'll take you're offer, only for today." "Great, I'll take you there, just leave your car here and we can come get it later." "Alright." I followed him to his car and jumped into the passengers seat, with him opening and shutting the door for me, 'he's such a gentleman now.' "Alright time to get some food!" I chuckled a bit, 'somethings never change.' "What's so funny?" "Oh, nothing.", I gave him a slight smile and turned my head to the window at my side.
       "How many people sir?" "Just the 2 of us." He told the hostess as she led us to an empty table, "Your server will be with you in a bit." "Thank you.", we both responded. I was about to pull out one of the seats when (c/n) beat me to it, "For you young miss." "Thank you good sir." I looked down at the table, 'maybe he really has changed.' "So how was your day?" "It was perfect.", he and I chatted on and had the food served to us and we chatted some more.
       It must've been at least 1 hour and 30 minutes since we were seated and were about to leave. "I'll pay the bill for today.", he said as he pulled out his wallet and left the bill on the table and a generous tip for the server. "(C/n), you've really changed from the last time I really saw you." "Is it convincing you?" "Sort of. You may have to do more." He smiled, "I have one more place to visit before we go back to get your car." I looked at him with a confused expression, but deep inside I was a bit excited.
       "We're here." I looked out of the window and saw the park we usually went to, "Haven't been here in a while." "Yeah" I quietly agreed and stepped out of the car, him doing the same. "This way." He took my hand in his own and led me to an empty area underneath a tree. "Do you remember when we would sit under this tree at night and watch the breath taking sky?" I nodded my head, my hand still in his own. We sat in silence looking up at the sky for 5 minutes before he spoke up, "(Y/n), I'm really sorry for taking advantage of you before, I say how much sorrow I have, but I really appreciate all of the things you did for me. If you decide to come back to me I promise to never do it again." He squeezed my hand tight and looked at me with a hard stare, "Do you really promise to? How can I trust you now and even later on." "I have sat around and thought about how important you are to me and how much I want you to be able to lean on me for support for anything and everything. I love you and I don't want to lose you just because of my habits, which is why I've decided to try much more harder to become an adult." "I don't want you to fully give up your video games, you understand. All I want is that you step up to the plate a bit more." "I understand, you're the most wonderful person in my life and I don't want to give it up that easily. So does that mean we're together again?" "As long as you keep this promise." "Best girlfriend in the world.", he hugged me tightly, "After all the reason why I love you is because of your personality (c/n).", he pulled back and gave me a long kiss.

This could possibly be to much fantasy in a relationship but I think it's quite cute.
