Present

(Y/n) POV
    "Today's (c/n) birthday! I haven't gotten him anything!", I jumped out of my house and ran to the nearest store that had his favorite (crush's fave thing) in stock.
After an hour of endless debating with myself with how to wrap it, present it, and if it was enough, I finally left the store and hurried back to my apartment to wrap it just how I envisioned it.
"Perfect!", I whispered to myself as I hurried over to his home to give it to him, the only thing keeping my back was the nervousness that crept up my veins and under my skin, 'What if he already has this?' Or 'What if I got him the wrong thing and he ends up not liking it?', I tried to push out those negative thoughts because I knew he really wouldn't do that, he was to kind.
*Knock Knock* I fiddled around with my fingers as the present laid in its protective bag and tissue paper. The door finally opened to reveal a still half asleep male in his pjs and tousled hair, "Gee, what exactly am I looking at?", I questioned as he's eyes widened a bit before motioning me to come in. "What're you doing here?", he asked sitting on the couch and smoothing out his hair slightly. "You're birthday is today, yes?", I asked as I also sat on the plush cushions of the couch. "You know you didn't have-" "Now what kind of person would I be if I didn't give something to my friend?" "Still.", I handed the (crush's fave color) bag and watched him open the gift with care, almost as if I had packed something that would crack under his grip. His eyes lit up as the tissue paper revealed the (present), "Wow, thanks (y/n)!", he gently put the gift down and pulled me into a warm embrace. Blood rushed into my face as I hugged him back, "N-no problem.", I hid my face in his shoulder in embarrassment. He pulled me back a bit and pressed a small kiss on my forehead, I gasped, "That's my way of saying thank you even more." I smiled at him as I went back for another hug.
