Ever Fallen In Love?

"You have so much music." I said as I browsed his large wall of CDs. He had everything to Metallica to Motzart. Emmett laughed.

"Not really, you should see Edward's room, almost all his walls are coverd with CDs." I laughed, but didn't answer. I was to hypnotized by the CDs.

"Oh!" I squealed. Emmett jumped up and was at my side in an instant.

"What's wrong?" He asked, his tone made me smile. He sounded concerned.

"You listen to Owl City?" I asked, showing him the CD. Emmett exhaled sharply.

"Jezz, scare the shit out of me." He whispered. "Yup I do, their pretty good."

"I love the song 'Fireflies'." I said as I put the CD into the CD player. The first song to come on was 'Hello Seattle'. I smled and danced around Emmett's room, sing along with the music. Emmett just watched and laughed. The song changed and on came 'Hot Air Balloon'. Again I sung to the music.

"We wrote a prelude to our own fairytale." I sang. "And bought a parachute at an church rumage sale." Suddenly the music turned off and I turned around to see Emmett standing by the stereo. "Hey I was listening to that!" I complained, sitting and crossing my arms.

"I'm sorry, but I told Dr. Finn we would be studying, not dancing and singing." He sat down next to me and opened his Calculus book. I sighed and did the same. We studied for about another half hour until I got all my math homework done. When we were done Emmett suggested we go downstairs and hang out with his family. I nodded and we went downstairs. Edward was at the piano in the corner, Esme and Carlisle were sitting on the couch, and Jasper and Alice were busy looking at what ever was on on her computer.

Emmett walked me over to the couch opposite Carlisle and Esme and sat down, me taking a seat next to him. He grabbed the remote from its place on the arm of the sofa and flicked on the TV. Of course, being Emmett, he turned it to football. Patroits vs. Packers.

Now I wasn't the biggest sports fanatic, but I wasn't stupid. I had grown up around football watching boys and I had learned the teams. If I had to choose my favorite team would be the San Fransico 49ers.

"Touchdown!" The sportscaster called and Emmett cheered. I sighed and got up, Emmett barely seemed to notice my absence. I went and sat next to Edward at the piano. He looked up and smiled brightly as I sat down. His eyes may have left piano but his hands never did. He kept gently tapping the keys, each time a gently tone ringing out. I closed my eyes and listened to the music.

"You like it?" Edward whispered. I didn't open my eyes, I just nodded. I heard him laughed beside me. One song melted into another and another... and another. At some point in time, I layed my head on Edward's shoulder and fell asleep.

I awoke in Emmett's bedroom.

It was dark in the room so I couldn't tell weather it was night time or not. I bolted up out of the bed, I was in such deep shit. Maybelle was going to kill me for staying out so late. I laughed a deep laugh from the corner. I turned my head toward his voice, though I couldn't see him, it was still really dark. Suddenly the light flicked on and Emmett was sitting next to me.

"Good morning." He said, I yawned and ran my hand threw my hair. "Don't worry about Maybelle, I had Alice call her last night and tell her we were up really late last night studing." I laughed at that. "I also told Alice to tell her that you'd be spending the whole day with me and my family, I hope that's okay." I nodded.

"So what are we going to do today, Mr. Cullen??" I asked him, resting my chin in my hand.

"Well, I was planning on going hiking today, if you'd like to join me." I had never been hiking but I had always been an outdoorsy kinda girl so I hastily agreed. Alice burst through the door at that moment, yelling that she needed to dress me properly. Twenty minutes later I came out of Alice's room looking like a furry white snow ball. She dressed me in dark wash jeans, a light white shirt, a heavy white coat, and you guessed it, a white hat.

Emmett was sitting on the floor across from Alice's room. He smiled brightly at me when he saw me. He jumped up.

"Ready to go?" He asked, already walking down the stairs. I almost had to run to keep up. Emmett lead me outside and toward the woods. We hiked through the wilderness for hours. It surprised me how beautiful it all was; the green trees, the river that surrounded Emmett's house, all of it. Emmett was very patient the whole day. He waited for me when I was being slow and helped me up when I fell. Always a gentleman, sometimes.

Finally we broke through the trees. The sight before my eyes was amazing. We were on a cliff's edge. The view was beautiful, I could see for miles from up here. I walked to the edge and looked down, that too was beautiful. I sat down and closed my eyes, and felt the wind in my hair. It was a glorious feeling.

"You like it?" Emmett asked me, sitting down next to me. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him. He was sparkling, and he was the most handsome being on the planet. I had seen a vampire in the sun before but never like this. He was glorious. The urge to kiss him almost overwelmed me, but I bit my lip and kept my body to myself.

It was quiet for awhile, and the quiet was nice.

"Angel?" Emmett asked, I could tell he was worried about something. I turned to look at him. Suddenly his lips were on mine. I smiled into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. It was kinda hard because he was sitting next to me, so I turned and sat on his lap. Emmett gently bit my bottom lip, begging for enterance. I opened slightly, and that was enough for Emmett. We sat there for awhile, just kissing and enjoying each other's presents. It never got farther than that, I don't think either one of us wanted to go farther.

When we finally pulled away, I was short of breath.

Emmett was smiling widely. I grinned back at him.

"I love you, Angel Jennings." Emmett declared. I looked at him, shocked, then I grinned again.

"I love you too, Emmett Cullen." Have you ever fallen in love with someone you weren't suppost to fallen in love with? Well I have, and let me tell you, it's the best mistake I ever made.
