"Yo, this is Emmett. Can't get to my phone, leave a message."

"Hey Em, it's Angel. I had to run Penny home. Be back later. Love you." I quickly pulled into her drive way and walked up to her front door. I knocked quietly. No answer. I knocked again, loudder this time. Still No answer. I started to get worried as I ran to her bedroom window. I peered inside to see that she wasn't in there.

I quickly pulled out my cell phone and dialed her number. It rang and rang until I finally got her voicemail. "Hola amigo. This is Angel, and I can't pick up my phone. I'm probably with the most awesome guy in the world. So leave a message and I'll get back to you ASAP."

"Hey baby. Call me ASAP. I need to talk with you." I said. "I love you." She was probably having girl time with Penny. But I called Penny's house just to make sure.

"She's not here." Mrs. Howe said when I asked her if Angel was there. "She drove Penny home from school earlier but I haven't seen here since." I thanked her and hung up the phone. I drove back to Angel's house and called Dr. Finn, it wasn't like Angel to just disappear like that.

"Hey Dr. Finn, sorry to disturb you at work." I apologized.

"It's okay Emmett." Though she did sound kinda annoyed. "What can I do for you?"

"I was just wondering if you've hear from Angel? I stopped by your house and Penny's house but she wasn't at either." I told her. Where the hell could Angel be?

"She called me earlier." Dr. Finn said. " But she just told she was sick and was going home." Her voice was filled with worry. "I'm taking off work right now, I'll go tell Dr. Cullen I'm leaving and I'll meet you at my house. Okay?"

"Okay Dr. Finn. I'll be there." I said, my voice tight with worry. Something wasn't right here. Angel just didn't disappear out of no where.

I out of Edward's Volvo when Dr. Finn showed up. She looked frazzled and worried. "Have you heard from her at all?" She asked as she unlocked the door. I shook my head and stepped inside after her. I immeditaly caught whiff of a vampire, a very familiar vampire. Felix of the Volturi.

Angel had told me a while back of what happened between her and Felix. It was right after her boyfriend Kevin had died. She and Felix had never been a couple and been intimet, for that I was thankful. Appearatly, Felix came to Houston on "business". He went to a club and saw Angel, for him it was love at first sight. But Angel never loved him, she hated him actually. He followed her around and told her about him being a vampire. Things got worse from there and it was almost a relief when she moved here and he had to go back to Italy. But before he left he promise she would be his.

I ran up the stairs to Angel's bedroom and his scent grew stronger. I ran into her bathroom and saw a note with my name on it. I picked it but and could tell that she had written it. My name was scribbled on it as if she had written it very quickly and hastily.

Olly olly oxen free.

Oh shit.

She only said that when there was something terrible going on, when ever she would have a terrile day she would flop on my bed and say "Olly olly oxen free." She said it was from her favorite book, 'Thirteen Reasons Why.'

I ran back down the stairs and to the door. "I'll be back later Dr. Finn." She gave me a question yet terrifed look. "Can the police and tell them what's goin on." And I ran out the door. I left Edward's car in the driveway and just ran to my house. I burst through the door, startling everyone there. I ran through everything that happened in my mind so Edward would so and so he could tell the others.

I ran upstairs and into my bedroom, grabbing a backpack and throwing random shit in it.

"Emmett." Alice said. I turned to see her with a phone in her hand. "It's Felix and he wants to talk to you." I felt like I was going to blow up with anger. I grabbed the phone, trying not to crush it, and put it to my ear.

"Hello Emmett." Felix's voice purred over the phone. I growled and he laughed. "Calm down Emmett, she is in good care. She is sleeping at the moment."

"You give her back to me you fucking bastard!" He laughed again.

"No can do Emmett. You see she is my singer and I intend to make her mine forever." I stopped dead in my packing. There was only one way to make a human bound to you forever and once it was done there was no way to undo it without killing both of them. "Ah, you know what I'm talking about."

"Of course I know what you're talking about." I said, still trying to control my temper. I turned around to see all of my family gathered in my room, packed and ready to go find my lost love.

"I will give you a chance to find her though Emmett. Every day I will give a hint as to where we are, and every day you don't get there, I will break one of Angel's bones." Felix laughed, like this was a game.

Surprising I kept my temper in check. "If you love her so much Felix, why hurt her?"

"I do love her, that is why I must do this. It's her punishment for loving one other than me." If I pictured an insane vampire, it would be Felix. I didn't even know a vampire could go crazy, but I guess all things are possible.

"What's my first clue?" I asked, getting tired of his games.

"Go to Angel's house, under her bed something is waiting for you, it will tell you where to go after that." He said, suddenly I heard someone in the backround. "Oh good evening Angel. How did you sleep?" It was silent for a split second before Angel blew up and started yelled and cussing at Felix, who only laughed. Then there was a scream and silence.

"What the hell did you do to her?" I bellowed. Felix laughed again.

"Just taught her a lesson." He said. "Would you like to speak to her before we part ways?"

"Yes!" I said. There was some shifting on the other line before I headr Angel's voice.

"Emmett?" She croaked in pain. I sighed in relief, she was alive.

"Yes baby it's me. Are you okay?" It was a stupid question but I couldn't help but ask.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Emmett, I'm so sorry. As soon as I talked to Penny i should have came straight to you, not go home." She was crying, in pain or in apology, I wasn't sure.

"Baby, it's okay. I just want you to be okay. I'm coming to find you, love. I'll be there as soon as I can." I promised her.

"Please, before you do that. Go find Penny, don't tell her I'm not there, she'll fill you in on what's happening." She instructed, I heard her breathing excellerate. "Emmett, I've got to go. I love you so much."

"I love you too." Then she hung up and I lost me temper. I grabbed the nearest thing to me, which was my T.V. and threw it at the wall. It hit the wall and crashed to the floor. It left a big hole in the wall, but I didn't care. I grabed the table next to my bed and threw that too. Suddenly I felt hands take hold on my arms, I turned to see Jasper and Edward holding me.

"LET GO!" I screamed. Alice stepped forward, gracefully dancing toward me.

"Emmett, you must calm down. We must find Angel." She said. "You are our brother, and Carlisle and Emse's son, we aren't going to make you go through this alone." I looked at my family and knew they had my back through this.
