Chapter 4

~~~PRESENT TIME~~~

~~MR. S's CLASSROOM~~

[Julie can be seen standing in front of Kairy and Rictor, while Joe is trying to calm Sophie down. Mr. S is trying to save Peter from his neck wound]

Julie: ... and that's when I decided to come here and warn you, but I guess I didn't make it in time. (Saddened)

[Mr. S still worried about Peter, takes a brief moment and looks rapidly at the direction of Julie]

Mr.S: But...I don't understand. What happened to your mother?

Julie: I don't know, mister. I just know when she tried to attack me, she didn't know who I was.

[Julie begins to cry and Kairy tries to console her. Rictor shows compassion when he gives her a piece of paper towel]

Julie: Thank you. There's chaos everywhere, guys. People are being attacked everywhere. I almost didn't make it here.

Kairy: But you're here now, that's what matters and you're alive.

Julie: Yes and we need to lock that door down to prevent those people from coming in.

Mr.S: Oh, no! No!

[Julie goes to the side of Mr. S and rapidly covers his mouth and tells him silently]

Julie: Shh! Sounds attract them, be silent.

[Mr. S nods and points at Peter, he is all pale and motionless. Julie sees this and slowly lets go of Mr. S's mouth]

Mr. S: (sobbing) I couldn't save him. I'm your teacher, I'm the one who's supposed to protect you and I couldn't save one of you.

[Mr. S starts sobbing and Kairy gets close to Mr. S and touches his shoulder]

Kairy: It wasn't your fault, mister.

Julie: Everyone, did Peter have a bite on him?

Mr. S: Yes, right on his neck.

[Mr. S points to Peter's neck and Julie reacts]

Julie: Oh, no!

[Everyone except Sophie, look at Julie when she immediately picks Peter's legs and tries to drag him out of the classroom]

Julie: We need to take him out of here, right now! He's going to turn in one of those things. He's going to try to bite us.

Rictor: Like the rude hobo.

Julie: What? (Ignores Rictor's comment) Just help me get him out of here.

[Sophie starts yelling]
