Chapter 20

                

-PRESENT TIME-

-Near Mr. R's Classroom-

[Mr. S crying is kneeling on the floor and he drops his red axe next to him]

Mr. S: (sobbing) sister...

[Danielle is seen walking slowly and she's dragging her left leg. She has a white pale face and her eyes are pearl white]

[Kairy looks at Danielle's direction and she gives a scream of agony]

Kairy: (sobbing loudly) Danielle!!!

[Kairy tries running to Danielle's direction, but Julie grabs her and holds her back]

Kairy: (sobbing) No! No! No!

Julie: Don't...

[Danielle keeps walking slowly to their direction. Mr. S is still kneeling on the floor crying]

Mr. S: (sobbing) why? It's my sister...

Adam: And she needs to be put down.

[Adam starts walking to Danielle's direction. He walks pass Mr. S and he sees him. Mr. S angrily stands up and grabs Adam by his shirt and pushes him to the wall]

Mr. S: (angrily) You...will NEVER talk about my sister like that.

[Adam looks nervously at Mr. S]

Mr. S: You will not do it. She's my sister...I will.

Adam: Okay...here...

[Adam slowly takes out a Swiss knife]

[Mr. S lets go of Adam and grabs the knife]

Adam: Right behind the ear is the quickest way.

Mr. S: (sobbing) thanks.

[Adam walks back to Julie and Kairy's direction]

Kairy: (sobbing) is not fair.

[Julie hugs Kairy]

Kairy: (sobbing) why?

[Mr. S takes a deep breath and starts heading to Danielle's direction. He gets close and Danielle tries to bite him, but Mr. S holds her head down]

Mr. S: (sobbing) I'm so sorry, Sis. I've failed you...

[Mr. S holds tightly to the Swiss knife]

Mr. S: (sobbing) Thank you for being yourself and being the smart one in the family.

[Danielle keeps chopping her teeth at Mr. S's direction]

Mr. S: (sobbing) I'll find little Pam. Now...

[Mr. S puts the knife near the back of Danielle's left ear]

Mr. S: (sobbing) Say hello to Mom and Dad and tell Alex...Kairy is still safe.

[Mr. S slowly introduces his knife through the back of Danielle's left ear. Danielle slowly closes her eyes and becomes motionless. She starts falling down, but Mr. S holds her and while hugging her he puts her slowly on the floor]

Mr. S: (sobbing) Rest now...Sis.

[Kairy and Julie slowly walk to Mr. S's direction]

Kairy: (sobbing) Danielle...

[Kairy kneels besides Mr. S and hugs him]

Julie: Rest in Peace, Danielle. You were always awesome.

[Adam knocks on Mr. R's classroom door and Mr. R comes out wearing a green bandana in his forehead]

Mr. R: Thanks for clearing all those things from here.

Adam: I wasn't alone.

[Adam looks to where Mr. S and his students are standing. Mr. R looks to that direction and sees as Mr. S stands up and Kairy is hugging Julie. Mr. R notices Danielle's lifeless body]

Mr. R: Oh no! That's his sister, isn't it?

Adam: (low tone) yeah...

[Mr. S with Kairy and Julie start walking to Mr. R and Adam's direction]

Mr. R: I'm so sorry, Peter.

[Mr. R puts his hand on Mr. S's shoulder]

Mr. S: (softly) Thanks, R...

[Suddenly they hear a loud growl and they all look at that direction. They see around six zombies coming their way]

Mr. R: Get in, hurry!

[All five, Mr. S, Mr. R, Julie, Kairy and Adam, enter the classroom. When they enter they see 4 students standing in different sides of the classroom. The two students on the right are Banks and Mark]

Banks: You made it back, Adam.

Adam: Yeah, found the gasoline, too.

Mark: That's awesome.

[Mr. R closes the door of the classroom. Mr. S looks to the other two students who are in the left of the classroom]

Mr. S: Ed! Nelly!

Ed: Wow...you survived, mister.

Nelly: Yay!

Mr. R: Well, I think this is all we have left.

[Kairy and Julie start looking through the classroom, like they're looking for someone]

Kairy: Is Chloe here?

Banks: Chloe?

Julie: Yeah, Chloe is that....nevermind. Have you seen her?

Mr. R: No, we haven't.

Mr. S: Now, what...

[Mr. S looks through the small window and sees the zombies walking their way]

Mr. R: Now, we get out of here.

Adam: Yes, finally.

Mr. R: And Mr. S, we have a plan.

[Mr. S , Kairy and Julie are astonished with what Mr. R just said]

Mr. S: (astonished) A plan?
