Chapter 40 Farewell

I looked at my phone to see that it was 8pm. 4 hours left...

The lights suddenly dimmed, slowly going out, until it was pitch black.

The noise of clicking from a lighter was heard and lit the 7 candles ontop of the cake they were holding.

"What?" A smile crept on your face.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!" The guys sang. "Happy birthday to Y/N! Happy birthday to you!"

"Thanks guys." You looked up to see their goofy faces.

"Now now, go on. Make a wish." Jin took his camera out along with Yoongi.

I hope everybody will have their happy ending.

You blew the candles out getting a round of applause. Jin took a picture just a bit later than Yoongi did.

"But, that's not all!" Jimin excitedly yelled.

You looked at him confused, wondering what else is going to happen.

They looked at you with a hint of shock in their faces.

"You don't know?"

You shook your head.

"Present time?" Taehyung was confused whether or not if you still know this.

"Ahhh." You replied.

"Ahhh?" Rapmon raised his eyebrow.

"Ahhhh- nothing." You held your hands in front of yourself.

Y/N lets not make a fool out of yourself.

"Okay?" Rapmon said as he looked away.

"Who's going first ?" Jin asked.

"Let's do oldest to youngest but let Yoongi Hyung have the last." Jungkook said.

Yoongi glanced over to Jungkook with a light smile.

Jungkook returned it.

Jin went out to grab his present and came towards you with the size of a rice cooker.

"Here." He had a proud expresion on his face.

"Thank you Jin!" You appreciated his sweetness.

"Open it!" His face changed into an excited one. "Come on!"

"Okay. Okay." You felt as if you were pressured to open it but presents are meant to be opened. It's not like you've been waiting for this moment to happen...

You tore the wrapping off and it revealed a beginner cooking set with an exclusive instruction signed by he.

You couldn't stop smiling at this and looked up to see his satisfaction.

"That's right you got my beginner cooking set which has an exclusive signature." He boasted. "Guess who it's signed by."

"Why who could ever have signed this?" You said in a sarcastic tone.

"Me. Yes, moi. Jin. Kim Seokjin." Who clapped for himself which nobody joined in. Bless him.

"Alright, my turn." Rapmon broke his sad applauding and lightened the atmosphere up.

"You know what else turns?"

"Not this again." Rapmon and the other members face palmed.

"Me turning that frown upside down." He winked and formed a gun gesture with both of his hands. "10 points for rhyming that joke."

You couldn't laugh. You just couldn't.

"Was that even considered as a joke?" J-hope sighed.

"Don't make me lose my respect for you, Hyung." Taehyung replied.
