Chapter 22 His promise

"Gomawo Yoongi Oppa..." You stared at the ground, replaying what had happened in your head.

He lightly smiled at you. 

"It's okay Y/N..." He stared at your face for a good whole minute. 

He placed his arm around your shoulder and brought you closer to him.

"You've been through enough... You can let it all out now..." He rubbed your back while you nuzzled your head on his chest.

A tear strolled down your cheek attracting more. He wrapped his arms around your body. Cradling you while you have a breakdown. 

"Gwenchanna..." He whispered. "I'll be here for you..." 

He patted your head while the two of you have a sentimental moment.

You wiped your tears and looked up to face him. 

"P-Promise?" You sniffled while staring into his dark orbs.

He contemplated for a while. "Promise." He smiled at you.

You gave him the most heart warming smile he's ever seen. For him, it was a long time he had seen you so happy, he loved it when you when you smiled. However... He felt guilty for saying just one thing... He made a promise that he shouldn't have.

He kissed your forehead before you buried your head into his chest.

"Thank you Yoongi Oppa." He felt your smile through his drenched shirt.

He gritted his teeth in regret. His pained expression took place on his face while he just imagines when the time comes... 

"You're welcome kiddo..." He trailed off his sentence while staring into the sky.

A tear escaped from his eyes while looking at the starry night above. 

"I love you Y/N..." He mumbled.

"What?" You failed to hear what he said.

"Nothing... Let's go..." He quickly wiped his face and grabbed hold of your hand.

"Where are we going?" You asked as he dashed off holding your hand.

"Home." He said.

Just one word made you feel accomplished. Just one word made you feel happy. It was just that one word that made you feel as if the world finally gave you another chance to start anew again.
