Light in the dark

Chapter 8

Lux was at a loss.

Ahsoka Tano had been there.

Well-she had been with him-except she was Aedha. But just a moment ago...the voice...the eyes. It was the Ahsoka he knew. The Ahsoka he loved.

And now she was on the ground, unconscious.

Troopers could be coming any moment and of course he would probably be held responsible for this.

And what when she wakes up? Will she be Ahsoka? Or will she be Aedha?

He gently lifted her onto the bed, and tried to shake her awake.

"Mistress Aedha?" He asked cautiously. He didn't want to use her real name for fear she would be dark when she awoke.

Ahsoka-Aedha-whoever she was, opened her eyes slowly.

They were yellow.

Luxs' heart sank, but he continued on.

"Are you alright Miss? You collapsed suddenly..." he said, trying to remain calm.

"Yes Mr Bonteri. I think I'm alright thank you." She spoke, in an ice cold voice.

She sat up, and quickly put a hand to her head, clearly slightly dizzy.

Lux gently reached his hand out, taking a risk.

"Please. Take my hand and sit up slowly." He suggested.

She glanced at his hand, then again at him.

And took it slowly.

Again her eyes flashed blue suddenly as she stood up gently.

And just as quick as it came, it was gone.

Lux was suddenly noticing a pattern.

Anytime Aedha was closer to him, she seemed to switch back to Ahsoka.

He suddenly had a plan.

A very very risky plan.

But a plan nonetheless.

Aedha began to walk out of the room, but Lux stopped her.

"Mistress-wait." He called out, quietly.

She turned on her heel and looked back at him.

"Yes?" She asked simply.

He walked up to her, and she met him with a confused gaze.

And then he pulled her into a kiss.

Her eyes immediately turned blue.

And stayed blue.

She pushed him away slightly and fell back gasping

"Lu-Lux. What's...what's happening?" She gasped, looking around.

"I....I really...don't know." He replied, confused as well.

"You just kissed me for no reason then?" Ahsoka asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well no-I mean-agh! I can't explain this all." He replied, embarrassed.

"I'm....I was dark wasn't I?"

Lux nodded slowly.

Ahsoka buried her face in her hands.

"How could I be so stupid?" She mumbled, sinking to the floor.

Lux knelt down and gently put an arm on her shoulder.

"You aren't stupid. Far from it. I'm no Jedi...but I know the darkside is strong. Even the best Jedi can't resist it." Lux comforted.

Ahsoka sighed and looked up.

"Well if Anakin...." she took a deep breath. "If Vader can control me once, he'll do it again. We need to get back to the Jedi...or what's left of them....and ask for their help. But how? I'm still supposed to be...Aedha." Ahsoka shuttered at the name.

"They won't notice if you're gone for a bit will they?" Lux asked.

She smiled slyly.

"I think I've got an idea."
