Light in the dark

Chapter 9

Ahsoka snuck over to a storage room, followed by Lux.

"I've got a private shuttle. Go disguise yourself as a death trooper and then meet me back out here." She said, pushing him toward the door.

Lux went in to change as Ahsoka tried to hide herself from anyone passing by.

He exited and Ahsoka came out from behind the Column she was hiding behind.

"Follow my lead." She whispered as they walked down the hallway.

Officers and troopers saluted her "Darth Aedha." They greeted.

She tried her best to hide her blue eyes as she walked down the hall.

As they approached the Hanger Bay, Ahsoka thought that this plan was fool proof. They began to board her ship.

"Apprentice, where are you going?" Came the dark voice of Darth Vader from behind them.

Ahsoka and Lux froze.

They slowly turned around.

"I'm...I owe you no explanation Master. I'm off to investigate a potential force sensitive." She tried to lie.

He hesitated.

"Very well." He stated and turned away.

They ran into the ship and started it up.

As they began to take off, Lord Vader, who had been walking away, abruptly stopped.

"Her eyes....." he whispered.

He sharply turned and barked out an order.

"Stop that shuttle at all costs!" He yelled across the hanger.

"But sir-" an officer began, and was cut off by choking.

Vader lowed his hand as the officer dropped to the floor, coughing. "I said stop that shuttle!" He barked again.

TIE fighters were immediately in the air, attacking the shuttle.

Ahsoka tried her best to pilot the ship.

"Hang on!" She shouted at Lux, who was hanging on for his life.

"Ahsoka don't get us killed!" He shrieked as they did a barrel roll.

"Well I'm trying not too!" She called back, dodging another shot. "Calculate the hyperspace coordinates!"

"But I've never done that!" He said kinda awkwardly.

Ahsoka glared.

"Well I don't know! Guess!" She said back, dodging more shots.

Lux took a stab in the dark at coordinating the jump.

"Hang on!" He called as he pushed the ship into hyperspace.

The question was where they were going to land....
