Dromund Kaas.
That's where Ahsoka was.
That's where Lux needed to go.
He was cursing under his breath as he read the map, realizing that she was not on the Star Destroyer as he has planned. Now he not only had to navigate his way back to the ship empty handed, and then make a trip to the *capitol* of the Sith Empire-he still needed to get Violet out of there.
Well, not Violet. As he'd found out, she was actually named Esmeralda, and she was supposedly some sith apprentice. Which was the last thing he needed, but still-she was just a kid right? He couldn't just leave her to die. Ahsoka would never have done that, and more importantly-he was a Senator. He was supposed to help people.
Lux pocketed the data chip with the intel, and began down a hallway. He just needed to make it to the holding cells.. he had to.
Essie was still in the holding cell, contemplating what to do next. She'd already slipped through the binders on her wrists, and now she was lounging on the bench seat, her legs kicked up in front of her. Yes, she might be sent to her death in less than 12 hours, but she'd seen worse.
Of course, she wasn't intending on dying. No, she already had several escape routes mapped out. She was just waiting for the right moment. Waiting for the guard change and her bi-hourly check, which by her calculations would be happening in 3..2..1-
The door hissed open and the trooper walked in. "Prisoner 24601-" He grabbed at his neck.
She lifted him into the air, looking guilty for her actions. "Sorry! It's nothing personal. I just really don't want to die." She smiled weakly before throwing him against the wall, knocking him out.
At least he wasn't dead. Part of the reason she was a rogue apprentice was because of the fact that she couldn't stand taking someone's life. But she had. She had been forced to many times within the Sith ranks, and eventually she had enough of it-turning on her master, and running. Running.. it seemed to be all that she did these days, and here she was again.
She used the guards code cylinder to open the locked door, and began to make her way down the hall. She'd brought their blaster along too, but prayed she wouldn't have to use it.
Just then, someone grabbed her shoulder, and she spun around. Well, she didn't want to use it. She fired a shot. Then a cry-
Lux.
"Oh-oh I'm sorry!" She looked at the man who was now clutching his shoulder with the blaster wound.
Oh well Lux. This is why we don't go after Sith. Guess that's a running theme!
"Kriff that hurts.." the Senator grumbled and shook his head. "No. Fine, it's fine. Let's just go! We have to get out of here!"
Essie nodded. "This way! I'll figure it out." She ran down a hall, and Lux was left with no choice but to follow. All he could do, was hope for the best.Ayyy the plot thickens..
