Light in the dark

Chapter 4

Obi Wan decided that if they were to get Lux to listen to them, he'd better accompany the two clones.

They boarded a ship, after leaving the few Padawan and youngling survivors with Masters Yoda, and Shaak.

"Where is Senator Bonteri anyway?" Fives asked.

"Most likely here, on Coruscant. Most Senators have been here since the events of....Order 66." Obi Wan stated, still uneasy about what had happened to their beloved temple.

"I'll get in contact with him immediately, Sir." Rex stated, pulling out his comm.

It beeped a few times, and then a holographic image of the young Senator appeared.

He gasped slightly, seeing a clone, but then regained his formal stance.

"Captain Rex. What can I do for you?" Lux asked, clearly suspicious that a clone would be contacting him.

"Can you meet me in the ally behind the senate building in 10 minutes?" Rex asked, the urgency clear in his voice.

Lux hesitated a moment, but then slowly nodded.

The hologram ended.

Obi Wan grabbed his robe and used it to hide his face as much as possible.

"Let's go." He said, and they both walked out to the small speeder.

They raced to the ally way, and proceeded carefully, being sure not to be seen.

The senator walked up to them slowly, also wearing a cloak, in a effort not to be seen.

"Captain what is going on?" He asked, clearly confused.

"We can't talk here. Just come to our hideout. We'll explain it all." Obi Wan said, and moved his cloak back to reveal his lightsaber on his belt.

The senator gasped slightly, but nodded, still not wanting to believe what Lord Vader had said about the Jedi.

They quickly hurried to the shuttle and raced back to the hideout.

"I want to know what's going on right now! I don't believe the Jedi are the cause of all this, but I demand an explanation." The confused senator burst out.

"Remember former Padawan, Ahsoka Tano?" Obi Wan asked.

Lux hesitated, as a look of worry crossed his face.

"Of course I remember Ahsoka. What about her? Is-is she okay?" He asked, concerned.

"She's....alive....but not exactly okay." Obi Wan said, hesitating.

"Well what do you mean? What's wrong?" He asked, clearly concerned.

Red sighed and played the holo recording.

Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker-now Lord Vader-appeared in holograph form.

"I proclaim you Darth Aedha." Vader spoke, in a raspy voice.

Ahsoka only nodded and stood up with a sly smile crossing her lips

She was no longer Ahsoka Tano, Padawan of Anakin Skywalker.

She was now Darth Aedha, apprentice of Darth Vader.

Lux gasped as Aedha had turned to the hologram, briefly before the recording had cut.

He saw a glimmer of blue briefly cross her eyes, before fading away into the vibrant Sith yellow.

"She-she couldn't have done that willingly!" Lux protested.

"My Ahsoka would never-" he stopped as Obi Wan raised an eyebrow.

"I mean...Ahsoka Tano would never...do that." He said, flustered.

"We know you two shared feelings for one another. It was clearly obvious. No Jedi code exists now. That clearly didn't work before, and Padawan Tano didn't do it willingly. She tried to fight it, but she was being controlled by darkness, unwillingly. If anyone can turn her back, it's you, Senator Bonteri." Obi Wan explained, desperately.

"I....I don't know if I can." Lux hesitated.

"If there's a chance you can be with Ahsoka, and save one of the few remaining Jedi while you're at it, will you accept?" Obi Wan asked, seriousness in his voice.

Lux hesitated a moment.

"I'll do it." He sighed, a slight smile crossing his face.

This is one of my favorite stories to update! It just takes a little while cause I have to really think about what I'm writing. I hope you guys are enjoying this!!!
