Chapter 13

"I really don't think this is a good idea" Lux complained as he suited up in black spy armor.

"Fine, it will be." Yoda stated, wise as ever.

Lux sighed.

Obi Wan handed the last of the supplies that he'd need for his mission.

"And remember." Shaak began. "Don't trust anyone."

"Right." Lux rolled his eyes as he slung another bag over his shoulder. "Well I'm off. Just make sure-just keep Ahsoka-Aedha-whatever she is safe." Lux mumbled as he boarded his ship for yet another mission.

"May the force be with him." Obi Wan sighed.

It was only a few hours into the journay, and Lux had stopped at a small space station to get some fuel.

He handed some credits to a Rodian, to get some Caf, and then began making his way back to the ship.

As he entered his ship, he immediately knew something was wrong, seeing the whole place rather trashed.

He reached for his blaster, but realized that he had left it in the control room.

Smart move Lux  he thought as he scanned the room for a weapon.

Suddenly, he saw something, or someone, dart behind a chair.

He took a deep breath, and leaped to great this robber.

In the most menacing voice (which wasn't much) he could muster, he shouted. "Halt thief!"

In turn he was met with a small Twi'lek girl holding her hands up in surrender.

This girl couldn't be more then 14. What was she doing here?

"What...what are you doing here?" Lux asked, confused.

"I'm..I was just looking for some credits or something. I need to get off world desperately!" The girl said frantically, as she stood up.

"There's tons of people who give free rides off this place to Coruscant. Why do you need to leave so badly?" He asked, before widening his eyes, as when she stood up it was clear that she was starving.

"It's...well...well it's-" she was cut off by talking outside.

Lux glanced toward the door and they both listened.

"So she went this way?"

"Yes sir."

"Set weapons to kill. She's too dangerous to be kept alive."

The girls eyes widened as she turned to Lux. "They can't find me here!" She gasped.

Lux sighed.

"Shaak is going to hate me for this." He muttered. "We're getting out of here." He exclaimed as he ran to the pilots seat, and jetted off into hyperspace.

He sighed as they were safe from the imperials, but he still had his quest, and now a companion.

He turned to the girl. "So you're Violet?"

She nodded slowly. "Violet Bysar. My..my parents were killed by the Empire two years ago, on my 12th birthday. I've been alone, and fighting them ever since." She took a moment to wipe away a tear. "But ever since a trap of mine, killed one of their troops, they've been determined to find me." She sighed.

"Well don't worry. You'll be safe with me. I'm Lux, Lux Bonteri." Lux stated, wondering what he just got himself into.

Woah I updated. And yay new OC (guys don't ship her with Lux. She's 14. In the story Lux and Ahsoka are 18.)
