Of course, there's stories about love at first sight and I've experienced it millions of times and I hate it. I met some guy who I really like, he's kinda cute and I hope to spend time with him. He's friends with my friends and we met at a party which was weird.

I've kinda stalked him and found out where he lives. I know, it's creepy. "Jamison this" and "Jamison that" and blah blah blah. I don't care I just want to see him I'll do anything to see him. Of course I was invited to a party and yes I accepted the invitation. I'd never refuse a chance to see him. He's amazing and I'd kill to even see him. Mako is apparently an Aussie as well, which is a bonus. We're literally a perfect match. Now, this party is tonight and I've got the perfect chance to be with him and ask him out. I mean, I don't know his sexuality, but he's usually around guys and doesn't like women getting touchy, so I'm assuming he's as gay as I am.

He's always putting his arm around me, and hugging me, which I don't mind. But I've gotta dress fairly decent since it is a party and don't want to look dumb. I stood up from my seat, looking at my stub of an arm and sighed. What if he hates me for this? I've already got myself a prosthetic leg and now I need a prosthetic arm, but I'm not made of money.

"Don't worry about it." I mumbled to myself, going to my room to find clothes for tonight. Once I prepared my clothes, I went to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth and all that. Once I was finished, it was almost 5:30, which gives me thirty minutes to get to the party, then wait for Mako to find me. I hope he's there, I really do.

I got to the party on time, Mei greeting me at the door and walking with me. She was dressed a lot nicer than I was, but I guess that didn't matter because she's able to afford nice clothes, unlike me.

"Do you think Mako will be here?" I asked, sitting with her on one of the small sofas.

"Yeah, most likely. I'm pretty sure I made one for him." Mei smiled, looking up as the doorbell rang. She's the one who invited everyone because she's so nice. I looked up at the door, hoping it was him, but instead it was just a few of Mei's friends. I'm sure I saw Sombra and Amélie, possibly Lena and most likely Hana. It's all the girls here and soon I noticed a bunch of people were here, but not Mako. No, I didn't even see him. I sat at the small mini bar that Mei had, even though she doesn't drink. It's probably just for party purposes. Who knows, maybe she's a raging alcoholic and I don't know it.

"Jamison, what's wrong?" Mei asked, patting my back. "You should come with me to talk." She turned to her friends, then looked at me again. "Ladies, give me a minute and I'll be back." Mei made me get up and go to the other room, then sat down with me.

"It's raining, isn't it?" I asked, tears rolling down my cheeks. Mei quickly wiped them away, hugging me.

"Don't cry, please don't cry. Tell me what's going on so I can help." She knelt in front of me, sighing.

"It's nothing." I laid down, Mei making me get back up.

"No it's not nothing because you're never like this." She held my hand, staring into the distance, watching something. "I'll be a second, somebody is here." She got up, closing the door. I moved myself to the corner of the room, thinking about why Mako wouldn't be here and why I'm a freak and why- I looked up as the door opened, which stopped my train of thought.

"Hey." Mei walked in, my eyes watering again and I put my head down. "Jamison, someone is here to see you." She knelt in front of me, tapping my shoulder. I looked back up, Mei smiling and helping me up. I was led outside, the rain down pouring and soaking me within seconds. I looked around, nobody here. Mei went inside again, then I felt a yank at my arm.

"Hey." I couldn't believe it was Mako and I thought he'd never come. I was so worried that he didn't want to be here because he knew I was coming to the party. Tears rolled down my cheeks, Mako standing up and hugged me.
