Chapter Thirty-Two: An Old Friend

As Mufasa promised, me, him, Miracle, and Lillie are heading down to the beach.

It truly is a beautiful day, even I can appreciate that.

Miracle got dressed for the occasion...of having a beach day, not a training day.

She's wearing one of those yellow summer dresses, it would look nicer if she wasn't so short and had to borrow a dress Lillie bought.

Miracle grabs little Topaz, "Because Topaz is just a newborn, she gets a pass. I'll let Isa watch her."

She tosses the dino to me and she lands face first in the sand.

Lillie frowns, "So, does that mean I'll have to battle with Snowball?"

"Yup. She'll be up against Tiko."
Tiko flies in and dips his fedora, "I hope you are ready señorita."

Snowball rolls her eyes, "Alright."

Mufasa pushes me, "We're not here to spectate!"

"I have a life, Mufasa!" My voice echo's and everyone turns to me.

Tiko laughs, "Who in the world are you talking to?"

I hold my flippers out to Mufasa, "This Pyroar!"

"There's no one there," Snowball states, "Are you okay? Do you need a doctor?"

I turn to Mufasa, "What! Only I can see you?" I whisper.
He nods, "Yup."

I groan, "Great. Now everyone thinks I'm insane."

Topaz starts nibbling on my tail,

"Y'know what? I'm not going to listen to a dead lion claiming he's here to help me. I'm gonna go and eat some food. Goodbye, Mufasa!"

Mufasa waves before disappearing into thin air, hopefully forever.

I decided to take little Topaz with me, the precious child.

Me, being the elegant Primarina that I am, goes to the most elegant place in Hau'oli city.

The pier.

It's second best to the beach but, I had to compromise.

There, I meet quite the familiar face.
"Tesla? Is that you?"

The large Luxray turns to me and nods, "Who else would it be."

"What're you doing here?"

He continues to stare out at the sea, "I wandered over here I guess. Maybe I just wanted to see you again. Maybe not."

I can't hold back my smile, "Desperate much?"

He shrugs, "I meant it in a platonic way."

He pads over to me and Topaz, "So, who's the Tyrunt?"

"Her name is Topaz. She's Lillie's Pokémon."

"Lillie's a trainer now? Wait. You evolved."

I laugh, "How could you have missed that?"

He rubs his eyes, "My eyesight is failing. Ever since that whole Flash incident."

"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. Well on the bright side at least you're not Rudy."

He tilts his head.

"Miracle's Mudsdale. He's completely blind."

"Miracle...."

"Right! You have no idea who I'm talking about!"

He nods, "You could always introduce me."

"Yeah. I like that idea."
