Chapter 26

It's been a whole two months...I finally got out of the Vampire World. I learned to control my rogue, so I can be around humans. I haven't seen many humans in a while so this is a change. They think I'm some sort of model, hence why I love them so much. I think it was nice to start fresh, to manage my life, to be...free from all that vampire drama. Being with Kade was just so... I don't know. I couldn't control my emotions around him. I know I love him, but it's time to move on. I don't want to hurt him anymore. I'm sure him and Vicky are perfect for each other, he's probably happy right now. As far as Ryder...I hope he's not looking for me. If he finds me, I'm sure he'll want me to continue the mission. But I could never kill Kade. Ever. Even if I did want revenge, I still love him. I always would...

I walked down the abandoned sidewalk, watching as an occasional car would pass by me. The Autumn air was warm, with a slight breeze blowing my hair back. I looked at the stars...they were beautiful, almost as beautiful as the moon, which I had come to love after I changed into a vampire. It's what kept me sane, it kept me from becoming rogue. Just looking at it calmed me down, because everytime I saw it, I knew there was a possibility that Kade, Roxanne, or any of my friends was looking at it. And at the moment, it felt as if I was with them...like they were beside me through this whole transformation. I just  hope they're all okay.

"Well well well...look what we have here," a husky voice said from behind me. Out of all the nights...really? I didn't even take the time to look back...I knew who it was. Ryder... I took off in a full sprint, trying to keep him from catching up to me. I could hear his footsteps close behind. Please don't catch up, please don't catch up!! I rounded the corner, but came to a dead end. No no no no no!!! I sighed, and spun around. Let's get this over with. 

"What the hell do you want," I spat. Because I know what I want...I want you to get the hell away from me. But let's see what you want first. 

"I want you to come back... Kade has gotten out of hand. He is beyond rogue...almost at a state of no return. I decided I want he to live, but if he continues to be rogue he'll get himself killed. Slayers will kill him if he continues to kill the innocent. After you left, things changed...he went full out rogue. He's not himself anymore. I know you've always been the one to keep him out of his rogue state," Ryder said walking towards me. I walked backwards, until my back met the brickwall. Ryder stood about a foor away from me.

"I'm sure it's not that bad," I said rolling my eyes, "Plus you wanted him dead...why the sudden change of heart?"

"I didn't want him dead...my rogue wanted him dead. Kade is my bestfriend, but now he's not himself. He's worse than Liam, Nix, and I put together...when we're rogue. He kills the innocent. Saige...he killed Alec...and all he did was bring up your name. He can't control himself. He's gotten so bad that the Slayers are out to get him now. He currently left the mansion, but I know where he is. I found him the same way I found you... a witch helped me locate the both of you. He's actually closer than you think...about a town over," Ryder explained. Holy shit!! He killed Alec?! But... he would never do that. 

"Ryder, I don't want to see him...I like it here," I said shaking my head.

He sighed, "You two are bonded...you're going to end up being around each other regardless. If you don't see him soon you two will die. You're supposed to be with your bloodmate, but if you're away from them too long you'll end up dying. You need to see him soon," he said, placing a piece of paper in my jean pocket,"That's the address, incase you change your mind," he turned to walk away but I grabbed his arm.

"Wait," I said stopping him. He turned around to look at me,"How can I tell if someone is rogue or not," I questioned.

"The eyes will either darken or lighten. Their voice becomes low and husky, and they can't control themselves at all...they're a completely different person. Rogues can see through the eyes of their vampire, but the vampires don't really know what the rogues did. Saige, if you do go see him, be careful. He's dangerous, but I think you're the only one that can change him," with that said, he turned around, and within seconds he was gone. Kade coulden't be that bad. I pulled the piece of paper out of my pocket. It was only about  10:30, I guess i could pay him a visit.
