Quote of the Chapter: "They want something and I'm not sure what."
"What are we going to do?" I questioned. I started to pace back and forth next to an unconscious Michele. I stopped, taking a deep breath.
I just need to relax.
I laughed at the ridiculous thought. There is absolutely no room in my life for relaxing.
"Why are you laughing?" Alex asked, looking at the floor.
"Nothing important. Look, we can't sit here all day. Michele is unconscious, and 'they are coming'." I said, restating the obvious.
I quickly packed everybody's suit cases. Grabbing my phone, I charged for the door. As soon as I touched the knob, I pulled back. I winced in pain while looking down at my burnt flesh. This could only mean one thing: the hotel is on fire.
I shifted my position, so that I could face them.
I have no idea why the fire alarm didn't go off or the sprinklers. Unless...
They are coming.
The people Michele was warning us about are here.
Michele sits up slowly; she's conscious again.
"What's going on?" she mumbled, scratching her head.
"I don't know. How about you tell us."
What I just said sounded rude, but at this point, I don't care. All of our lives are in danger and we need to act fast.
She immediately stood up and ran towards the window. I willingly followed her lead. I hate being the leader, but I somehow always end up in the leadership position. I motioned Alex and Austin to follow; they obey.
We all climbed down the fire escape. I never knew hotels had one, but apparently this one does. The hotel is blazing with flames. I didn't know why they wanted to ignite a hotel fire. They could have killed somebody. However, I don't think they care about people's lives. All four of us stared at the burning hotel.
Were they trying to send us a message?
A banner, covering half of the hotel, suddenly appeared. The words on the banner were written in blood.
'I said no games.'
Those words made my heart sink down to the pit of my stomach.
I know exactly what he is referring to.
I guess he knows that I wasn't going to kill my dad. Besides, with Michele with us, he has nothing to bargain. He probably thought I helped Michele escape. I have not the slightest clue of how she escaped.
They want something and I'm not sure what.

This wasn't the greatest chapter, but it was IMPORTANT.
I will give you a hint: Somewhere in chapter 13, (the chapter you just read) there is a fore shadow. I hope you know what fore shadow means. Haha (:
Also, I hope you bought Austin's song U on iTunes! It's a mouth-dropping song.
Remember to vote, comment and continue to read. (:
Until next time---
