You have to kill him.

You have to kill him.

You have to kill him.

Those five words wouldn't stop ringing in my ears. Regardless of my father's previous behavior, I wouldn't kill him. I want to believe that there is some good inside of him. If I kill him, I will never know.

Austin broke me from my thoughts.

"What did the text say?"

I closed my eyes.

Maybe this is all a dream. I'm still on the floor, sleeping.

I opened my eyes, but I was still sitting next to Austin. I wanted to cry. My eyes started to sting and my throat started to close.

Without speaking, I passed him my phone.

"I'm not a murder and I'm not doing their dirty work. I'm tired of being treated like a puppet. I don't know what to do, Austin. I don't want your mom to die because of me."

"We are going to find her. I'm going to go look for her."

Austin stood up and extended his hand out for me to grab. I thankfully accepted it and together we headed back to our hotel room.

Alex was still sound asleep; I giggled at the sight. Austin offered me the coach, but I declined. This sounds odd, but the floor was more comfortable. Austin fell asleep, but I was still wide awake.

If I say yes, I would be a murder. I cringe at the word murder. I don't understand how somebody could look a person in the eyes and drain the life out of them.

Michele. I hope she doesn't get the life drained out of her eyes.

I need to calm down.

I decided to go to the bathroom and wash my face.

I drenched my face with water, as I do so, I feel the worries wash away. The upsetting thing about washing my face was whenever it ends. Because as soon as it ends, my problems come back.

No matter how many times I wash my face, my problems are always there. I need to face my problems and stop avoiding them.

That was when it clicked.

I had an idea! An idea that will cause no harm to anybody.

I ran out of the bathroom to wake up Alex and Austin. I decided to first wake up Alex.

"Wakey, wakey!" I giggled as I shake Alex violently. He groaned and sat up. I picked up a pillow and threw it at Austin. "I need to tell you all something!"

I was laughing, playing with my fingers, and tapping my foot.

"Why so happy?" Alex said as he tilted his head at me.

"Why shouldn't I be?" I cackle, falling to the floor. They both look at me with puzzled eyes. I brushed myself off, as I rose from the floor.

"I have a solution to our problems."

"What problems?"

I almost forgot that Alex doesn't know about the text messages. Well, the recent text messages about my dad.

"Long story short, while you were sleeping, I received a text message telling me I must kill my dad in order to have Michele given to us, safely."

"So, what's your plan?" Austin asked, now sitting up on the coach.

"We are going to trick them." They both looked up at me in confusion.

"How?" They both said in unison.

"We give them a bodybag with a manniquinn or something inside."

"What if they look inside the bodybag?" Austin asked.

"The manniquin isn't going to be as heavy as your dad." Alex added, they continued asking questions until I finally stopped them.

"This will work. Alex, we can easily put weights inside of the bag. Austin, I will leave before they open the bag."

"But-" I cut Alex off.

"No buts. I need to tell them I will do it."

I felt incredibly confident about the plan. Instead of texting, I decided to call.

"Ahh you decided to call," the person said.

I can tell the person is using a voice changer.

How do they do that?

"Yes and I have made my decision. I will kill my dad in exchange for Michele."

"Why would you kill your dad for some woman?"

I wish I could punch him in the face through this phone.

"She isn't some woman, okay? She is like the mother I never had!"

"You never answered my question."

I took a deep breath before speaking.

"My father has beaten me for years and I want revenge."

"Alright, tommorrow, arrive at Farrett Creek."

"I got it. What time?" I smiled, I tricked the con-man, or whatever he is.

"9 p.m."

That's when I hung up.

We heard banging on our hotel door. We all focused our attention on the door.

"I got it," Alex said, getting up to answer the door. He opened the door and a bloody, dirty woman plopped on the floor.

"Michele?" I asked, rubbing my eyes, making sure she wasn't a mirage.

"They.... are.... coming."

That's all she could say, before she became unconcious.
