FORCE OF ATTRACTION
Love and you shall be loved.
and like Newton's law of attraction,
I was drawn to him
like a bee attracted to a flower
I was drawn to him
like a tiny piece of metal to a magnet
I was drawn to him
like a moth drawn to a flickering light bulb
I was drawn to him.The quickening of my pulse,
the shortage of breath,
the rush of blood in my cheeks
the thumping of my heart
the nervous fidgeting of sweaty hands.
Were they signs of my attraction towards him?.
Or some kind of warning to stay away from him.I was running,
running at the speed of light
in the middle of the night.
But he kept pulling me.:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Mass is not proportional to volume
I am a girl,
a girl as small as a flower,
a girl who moves like the wind,
a girl as soft as the feel of silk
a girl whose eyes were whiter than milk
a girl trying to be everything but herself.
But I was pulling more force than my mass.
Just then like Newton's apple,
I rolled towards him without stopping.
until I fell on him
I fell on him with a thump.
With a thump,
My heart bounced between the sky and the ground.
He was my first love.
