"Hey babe, what do you want?" Kyle said looking at Carlie. Carlie looked at all the choices and pointed through the glass.
"That one!! Candy corn delight!!" She grinned up at Kyle. He nodded then ordered. Zack and I were waiting at the table with our ice cream. I had gotten Christmas Eve, or vanilla ice cream with peppermint and vanilla bean flavoring. Zack got just plain chocolate. Carlie and Kyle came up to us and sat down.
"So, have y'all had your first kiss yet?" I asked breaking the silence. Carlie and Kyle looked at each other before answering.
"No, but I sure hope it's soon." Carlie said staring into Kyle's eyes drooling. She reached for his hand but he moved it. I gave him a glare, but he didn't care.
"Um, Carlie just went to hold your hand." I stated. He looked at me and shrugged. Carlie was looking at me begging to stop talking and so was Zack, but I didn't listen. "And you pulled your hand away. Why?" I stared at him. He got up and began to walk away. Carlie looked innocent as she watched him walk away. I jumped up ignoring the fact that Zack was pulling at my shirt, and took Carlie by the arm. I yanked her to Kyle.
"Here you!! If you don't love my best friend, just tell her. Save her from heartbreak later down the road." I said as I shoved Carlie in front of me. Kyle stared at me confused. Carlie looked at him with big eyes. He pulled her up next to him and placed his lips to hers. My eyes got so big I'm shocked they didn't pop out of sockets. Zack came over to me and took my hand weaving our fingers together. Carlie had closed her eyes and had her arms around his neck. He put his hands on her waist and pushed her away. He looked over to me.
"Does that answer your question?" He said twirling Carlie around. Carlie looked at me expectantly. I nodded. He smirked then pulled Carlie back to him. I turned to look at Zack who was gawking at them. I elbowed him in the stomach. He flinched then glared at me.
"Stop gawking over them!! I'm your girlfriend!!" I smiled.
"So you want to make out?" He said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Uh... yea. But not here!! At your house!!!" He chuckled then headed back to the table.
"Guys!!! We got ice cream!!! Y'all don't need to eat each other!!" I yelled at Carlie and Kyle practically swallowing each other. They finally pulled apart then headed over to the table. After we were all done, we split up. Carlie went with Kyle, which I wasn't to keen on. I didn't trust him yet, so I didn't trust Carlie with him quite yet, but she's head over heels for him, so there was nothing I could do to stop her. When Zack started the car, he looked over at me with a crazy face.
"Not to your house. To mine so you can help me pack." I stated turning to the road. He sighed then backed out. When we arrived at my house, my parents were arguing, as usual. When I walked in, Zack pulled me close to him.
"IM HOME!!" I yelled, hoping it would cause the arguing to stop, but it didn't. I shrugged and then leaded Zack to my room where we packed my things. After packing most my things, we headed to his house. When we walked in, his mom came running to him, stopping when she saw me. I smiled at her and she smiled back. She wrapped her son in a hug, separating me from him. She whispered things to him, and he whispered things back. I didn't know what they were talking about. All of a sudden Zack screamed.
"I don't care what you think!!! I love her and that's all that matters!!!! I don't care if she's going to Germany, I love her and we'll make it work!!!" I looked at him shocked, and so did his mom.
"Zack, I just want what's best for you. And I don't think staying with her is the bes-" Zack cut her off. I got close to Zack intertwining our fingers.
"Mom!!! Don't say another word!!! If you want what's best for me, then you will never talk about me breaking up with her again!!! Am I understood?" He had such frustration in his voice, it scared me.
His mom nodded and walked away. He took me to his room. He let go of my hand and plopped on his bed. I went up to him and sat on his lap. I cupped my hand under his chin and lifted his head to look me dead in the eyes.
"I love you too. But what was that about?!?" I questioned. He slung his head low and sighed.
"She thinks I should break up with you because your parents are a bad influence." He mumbled. I threw my arms around him and kissed his neck. He followed. I pulled away and looked at him. He looked disappointed.
"Don't worry. I'm not offended." He looked at me with a small grin. I hugged him then got off his lap. "What do you want to do?" I asked finally ready to stop looking at his depressed face. He shrugged. I shoved at his shoulders pushing him down on his back.
"Hey!" He exclaimed sitting back up.
"That's what you get for being depressed." I said putting my hands over my chest. He reached out and took my waist pulling me down on top of him before I could say stop.
"And that's what you get for being my girlfriend." I laughed then kissed him. He wrapped his arms around me and I ran my hands through his soft brown hair. He flipped me over, then pressing a kiss to my forehead, getting off of me.
"How about we go to a movie. There's a new horror movie out. Want to go?" He said pulling at my arm.
"No way. I'm never going to see another horror movie after last time." I said sternly.
"Well, there is also Beauty and the Beast." He said shrugging.
"Perfect!! Let's go!!" I said yanking on him. We went to the car and sang our hearts out the whole ride.
