When I woke up, Zack and Carlie were already up and making breakfast. I slowly walked to the kitchen where Zack ran up to me and hugged me. I stared to cry.

"Sh. No crying. We are going to stay together until you leave." He said pulling me closer. I nodded then wiped my tears. He sat me at the table as Carlie brought over some toast, eggs, and bacon. We slurped it up.

"I'm sorry." I said looking down at my feet. I felt a strong hand grab mine. I looked up to see Zack. Then all of a sudden, Carlie wrapped her arms around my neck. She rested her head on mine. Zack continued to hold my hand.

"Don't be sorry. We'll be fine. All of us. I promise." Carlie whispered as she sat back down. I nodded then got up to go to my room to get my carry on packed. I packed up a small pillow to sleep, some empty water bottles, a blanket, some games, and a jacket. Finally, I picked up a picture that I couldn't pack in a box because it was too valuable. It was a picture of me on Zack's back on our 4 month anniversary. Behind that photo, was another one of Carlie and I as 7th graders at a science fair. I began to tear up. I put them away then I felt warmth on my back.

"We were so cute." Zack mumbled in my ear. I smiled then looked up and kissed him. The softness of his lips were going to be something I missed so dearly. He sat down and put his arm around me. I laid my head on his shoulder.

"No more spontaneous movie dates. No more. No more. No more anything!!" I cried. He wrapped me up. Carlie ran in and cried with me. We all sat and cried until my mom came in.

"May... we leave in ten minutes." She said. She came up and kissed my cheek before leaving my room. I got up to get dressed. Carlie and Zack left. When I came out with my carry on, Zack and Carlie were waiting by the door crying and my mom was in the car. I ran up to Zack and hugged him with all my might. I let go of him and hugged Carlie. She hugged back. When I let go, both hers and my faces were soaking wet.

"Good bye best friend. I'll see you on the flip side." We giggled. "Remember how we made that up in eighth grade for a math project?" Carlie said grinning at her feet. I nodded.

"Yea. We were so stupid." We both laughed. Zack took my hand and headed to the car with me.

"I'm going with you to the airport, but Carlie can't. She has to get to school by third period. I don't have to be there until sixth." I nodded then ran up to Carlie to hug her goodbye for the final time. We cried until our cheeks hurt then let go. I waved her off until she was so far down the road, I couldn't see her. Zack climbed in the back with me. I cuddled up next to him. I took out my phone and we took a selfie.

"My new background." I stated as I set it as my background. He chuckled. I felt his hand rubbing my arm as we drove. I looked up to his big brown eyes that were usually filled with joy and cheer, but now, they were filled with sorrow. A single tear rolled down my face and onto his lap. He hugged me tighter and kissed my head. When we arrived at the airport, he got out without letting go of my hand for a split second. He grabbed my carry on out then hugged me. I felt his tears coat my shoulder as I cried on to his hard chest. He didn't let me go until my mom yanked is apart. He kissed me for the last time. That was also the last time I saw him before my mom pulled me into the airport making Zack disappear behind the doors. I felt my eyes tear up and my face burn.

We spent an hour at the airport before taking off. I wanted to text them so much, but I couldn't. I couldn't bring myself to do it while I was still in Seattle. It would cause me to run out of that airport. All I could think about was Carlie's sad face when she drove off and Zack's sad face when I disappeared into the airport.

"WHY!! Why mom?!? Why do we have to move to Germany?" I yelled out of nowhere. My mom looked at me disappointed. She shook her head.

"We have to. Your father wouldn't allow me to stay. Plus I go-" I cut her off.

"I know about the job!! I know you and Dad are getting a divorce!!! But we could of just moved out of our house!!!" I exclaimed. All of a sudden, our flight was called. When the plane finally took off, Zack texted. "Have fun princess. I love you with all of my heart. One day, we'll be married. I know it. Just stay strong and get through one day at a time. We'll see each other again. Although it may not be soon, it will come. May, you make the world bright for me. I couldn't ask for a better girl to call mine. You make my life worth it. I don't know what I'd do without you. Stay strong my princess because I promise, one day we will be reunited, and when that day comes, I'll ask you to be mine forever. -Zack;)" I balled into my hands. The flight attendant came to me to see what was wrong. I showed her the text and she left me alone. The rest of the flight was miserable. Missing Zack and Carlie was the worst feeling in the world. I couldn't wait to see them again.
