After I had changed into clothes Carlie had gone back to get me, I was very mad.
"CARLIE!! LOGAN!! Logan's back!! I don't want anyone I know or love getting hurt again!!" Carlie wrapped her arms around me to calm me down.
"Shhhh. I know Logan hurt Zack in the past, but I won't let it happen again. I won't let him get to you or anyone. And don't worry about me. We're still in good'ish terms, I think. You just need to relax." Logan was my "best friend" from 1st grade to freshman year. Carlie always had a bad feeling about him, I should've listened to her. Turns out, he had a crush on me for a long time, so when I started dating Zack, let's just say, he wasn't to happy. One day, Zack and I were out together and Logan came from behind me and kissed me. Zack tried to get him away from me with words, but it didn't work. Logan threw a punch at Zack and knocked Zack out. He continued to hurt Zack. I called the police and Logan was taken J.U.V.Y. Zack was rushed to the hospital and was there for about a week. Now Logan's back.
"I know. I know I need to relax, I just, I just can't. I'm worried about Zack, about you, about me. I'm worried. Logan was a mistake on my part. He was a great person at one point and now he's just terrible." Carlie looked at me with a disappointed look as she slung her arm over my shoulder and walked me to our seats.
We had a great time other than being paranoid about Logan, but we didn't see him again that night. When I got home, my mom and dad were in the living room.
"Maya, can you come here please? We need to talk to you." My Mom sounded worried. I walked cautiously to the living room. I found my mom on the couch next to my dad. My dad looked nervous and so did my mom.
"Yes? Why did you want to talk to me?" I sat down on the couch across from them. My stomach begin doing flips scared of what they would tell me.
"Sweetheart, Carlie called us. She told us Logan was back. Now before you get all crazy let me say, we are scared to, but give him a chance." I stared at my parents with a face telling them they were crazy. I was never going to give Logan a chance again!
"Mom, Dad, I know you think that'll be best, bet really, it would make things worse. I'm still with Zack and a know Logan wants to hurt me so I know he'll hurt someone I love, and I don't want it being y'all, Carlie, or Zack. He knows how to get to me. He knows my weak spots. I can't let him get to them or to y'all. So please, please, I'm begging of you, stay out of this. Please?" I looked at them both with a stern look. The exchanged looks that only parents can understand. I waited for their response. I felt like my heart was beating so loud Germany could hear it.
"Okay May. We'll stay out of it, but if you don't take care of it within 2 months we need to help before things get to bad." My father finally said. I nodded in agreement and took my tired butt to bed. Before bed I texted Zack to make sure he was okay. Sure enough, he responded fairly quickly as usual. I was finally able to go to sleep in peace.
When I woke up, I had a text from Carlie saying "Hey!! Logan agreed to meet up at a Marco's Mocas. We'll be meeting him there at 10:30. Be there WITH Zack. ;D" I sighed at the text dreading leaving the house. I got up to my dad on the computer.
"Morning hun' how was your rest?" I rubbed my eyes realizing I forgot to take out my contacts.
"It was good. Had no dreams and had no nightmares." I responded as I shook the box of Cheerios into my bowl. I walked over to the fridge to get milk when someone rung our doorbell. My dad got up to go get it and I followed behind. When we got there, Zack was all dressed and ready to go.
"Ready to go my love?" I looked down his body at the sight of him dressed and ready to go at 9:45. Then I remembered, I was in pajama pants, and t-shirt of my grandmas from a while ago, and my hair in a bun, well at least it was in a bun last night.
"Does it look like I'm ready to go? I just got up!" Zack smirked and scanned my body.
"Oh. I just thought you where going for a laid back look. Well... may I come in?" I gestured for Zack to enter and I led him to my room.
"Here. You pick out my outfit while I eat a quick breakfast and I'll be back after to see what you chose." I showed him my closet and his mouth dropped. He clearly had never seen so many clothes in one closet at one time.
"Go on. Go eat your breakfast princess. I, Zack the royal servant shall pick your outfit." I rolled my eyes and walked out the room to the kitchen where my mom was now looking through magazines all ready for work. She peered up at me and smiled but then continued with the magazine.
After I was done with my Cheerios, I went back to my room to find Zack sitting at my desk looking pretty proud of himself. I giggled when I saw him then headed to my bed where he had placed my clothes.
"Wow babe, not bad, not bad. Good job on picking an outfit." The outfit consisted of a loose flowing t-shirt that had days of the week listed with emojis describing my mood each day. For bottoms, he had picked out a pair of grey leggings and Uggs for shoes.
"I know. I should work as a stylist." I smiled as I went to my bathroom to do my hair, or should I say, rats nest. I decided on a simple braid to the side of my head. As I was heading out the door I yelled to my parents.
"Mom! Dad! I'm going to Marco's Mocas with Zack, Carlie, and Logan!! I should be back by one at latest!" I didn't hear anything so I shrugged and walked out the door to Zack's jeep when my phone beeped. It was my dad. "Good to know you remembered the rules. Have fun and be SAFE. Love ya." We began our journey to Marco's Mocas, which would be an interesting Journey none the less.
