The next day Beth was walking down the hall when she was stopped.

  "Yeah?" She questioned.

"I kind of... can we... I have to talk to you." Puck said.

"Uh, I don't know you. I only know your name. No." She said.

"No, you don't understand. We have to talk." Puck insisted.

"No!" Beth yanked her arm away.

"Please, I'm your father!" He called after her.

"Stop! I know who my father is! He ran out on me when I was three!" Beth yelled. Beth ran away before Puck could get another word out. She ran all the way back with her friend Chris.

"What was that about?" He laughed.

"Shut up! Come one, what about this party?" Beth asked.

"Ok, so it's at Camille's house tonight. There is no guest list. Alcohol will be served. Her parents aren't home and we are going." Chris said.

"Ok, I'm up for being rebellious." Beth said with a huge smile. Chris was surprised because he didn't expect her to say yes. Usually her asked her to go to a party with him and she declined but I guess it was different because of what just happened.

The day passed by and everyone was so excited for the party. Beth avoided the hallway where glee club met all day. She didn't want to see Puck. Finally the bell rang and school was out. Chris was waiting by the oak tree like normal. He always walked Beth home.

"Tonight, 7:00. I'll be here." Chris said before Beth walked in the door of her apartment building.

"Gotcha. I'll be down here. Don't come up. I'll call you if I need you here sooner." She said.

"Ok." Chris said as he started walking away. All the sudden a busted up, blue convertible pulled into the apartment buildings drive way.

"Who is that?" Beth asked.

"It looks like that guy you yelled at in the hall today." Chris said. Of course he was right. Puck got out of his car and started walking towards the building. Beth ran inside, up seven flights of Ataris and barged in on her mother making dinner.

"Is everything ok?" Quinn asked.

"No. There is this guy.... and he...." She tried to spit out but she was out of breathe.

"What guy?" Quinn asked nervously. All the sudden Quinn's phone rang.

"Hello?....mmhm...yeah..come on up." She said. Then there was a knock at the door. Quinn opened it and there he was. Noah Puckerman.

"Beth." He said. Beth turned and made a mad dash to her bedroom. Quinn started to go after her until Puck stopped her, "No Quinn, let me talk to you first. why do you want me in her life now?"

"I'm struggling." Quinn said. "She's to rebellious. She has to take care of herself sometimes. I need someone."

"Finn?"

"He found out 9 years ago."

"What do you want me to do?" Puck asked kindly.

"Please, I just want to give us another try. I want you to know Beth. I want her to call you dad. Me mom. I don't know." Quinn said.

"I'll go talk to her now." Puck said. he walked into her room but she wasn't there. he looked out her window and saw her running down the street.

"Where is she?" Quinn asked when she came in.

"There." Puck pointed.

"Go get her!" Quinn urged.

"Hey, she'll come back. Remember, I was like her. I always came back. I'll be here when she does come back."

"Thank you." Quinn smiled.

Beth was running to see Chris. It was the only other place she knew. She rang the doorbell of his white condo. He answered the door to see Beth with her make smeared and her shoes dirty.

"Hey. come in. What's wrong?" he asked.

"Its... its..." she tried to say between deep breathes.

"That guy?"

"Yeah." Beth said.

"Ok. You can have dinner here, we will get ready for the party , and then after the party you can sneak back home." Chris said. He had never acted more like a friend.

"Ok." Beth said. They ate dinner and then got ready for the party.

Finally they left and got to the party. They had such a fun time. Once it reached 1:00 am, Beth decided to leave. She ran home, climbed a tree and climbed through her bedroom window. When she got in she put her bag down and turned on the light. She almost had a heart attack when she saw Puck sitting on the end of her bed.

"Hey! Get out!" Beth screamed.

"shhh." Puck said, "Your mother is asleep."

"Shut up! Get out!" Beth yelled again/

"Hey, I know where you were. If you listen to me I won't tell your mother. If you keep screaming she will find out. Do you really want to find out what will happen if she finds out what was happening at that party?" Puck asked in a father like tone.

"ok." Beth said.

"Sit down." Puck instructed. Beth sat down on her bed. "I know you don't know who I am, but I was there when you were born, at your birthday parties. Even though I was there in the beginning, your mother pushed me away the older you got. I missed so much and I've always wanted to come back and apologize for what I did. I'm sorry." At this point Beth was crying.

"Thanks." Beth said. "I forgive you." Beth said.

"Will you allow me to be in your life?" Puck asked.

"Yeah." Beth said.

"ok. You should get some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow." Puck said
