Temptaion

As Beth was at school Puck was at the apartment alone. He looked through countless scrap books and pictures so he could still watch Beth grow up. Finn was in so many pictures. Puck wished he he'd been there the whole time. He felt replaced, betrayed. All the sudden his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out to see an old, familiar name:

Rachel Berry

"Hello?" Puck said confused.

"Puck!" Rachel sounded cheerful.

"Yeah, what do you want?" Puck was confused. They hadn't talked in ages.

"Well, I'm single. I'm in New York City and I would really like to see you." She said.

"Do you have room up there for me for a weekend?" Puck asked. He didn't mind a little getaway. Especially with Rachel Berry. Even though they broke up she was still so pretty, kind and still had feelings for Puck. He didn't know if Quinn would ever care for him again so he decided to pack his bags and go stay with Rachel for a weekend.

When Beth got home she was so excited that her father would be there but when she opened the door he wasn't. She was confused, but in the back of her mind she thought that no one would ever stay around.

"Puck! Puck?" She called. Wow, just another father who ran out on me. That's two. I knew this whole thing was a scam! Beth ran to her room and fell into her bed. She cried into her pillow, letting the mascara stain it. She kept asking herself what she did wrong. Why didn't anyone want her?

When Quinn came home and heard the whole story from Beth she was also disappointed. She did believe that her, Puck and Beth would have a future. In a way she was also relieved because this meant he wouldn't run off if they were ever married.
