Out there in the world lies a kingdom, a kingdom in every corner. And where there is a kingdom, there is either a rebellion or an enemy. We travel afar back to a place filled with people of many kinds. Down to the earth is a kingdom, the kingdom of England. This kingdom is different from when it was many years ago. It became brighter and filled with people of all kinds. Ruling it were two Kings, it wasn't common at this time to love someone who is the same gender as yourself. They had changed that on the day when their wedding bells rang. All was swell, the people seemed overjoyed, love was spread, and overall, their rulers were happy. By the large entrance of the castle, we see a man with spiked up hair and eyes as black as midnight. He was wearing a royal blue cloak with a hood to hide his face. It had golden designs of music notes at the edges and a sachel at his side. He wore brown pants and a white tied up shirt. Although Tom was a king now, he still liked to go down to the market and check on the people. On his way to the bakery, as he was about to open the door, someone dashed out and the clerk ran after them yelling, "Stop, Thief!" Tom ran after them and soon so did the public guardsmen. The person was small and quick, they ran and slid under a full wagon in their way. The clerk and guardsmen were dumbfounded and stopped until the wagon had passed, Tom had a few tricks up his sleeve as well. He took a rounding alleyway and quickly climbed to the rooftops. By keeping his eyes on the small thief, Tom ran across the rooftops. The houses being so closely built together helped. The small thief cut a corner and ran into an alleyway, Tom jumped down safely and ran after them. He ran in only to be met with a wooden fence and a loose board. One black orb peeked through a hole and saw the person jog to the other side. Once the thief seemed far enough, Tom quietly pushed away the loose board and tiptoed towards them. As he got closer and closer, he could hear slight mews. He looked past the ragged brown cloak and saw a pile of different kittens, their meows bouncing off the walls. The small person took milk and some bread from their cloak and gave it to the small creatures. "So you just wanted them to be safe?" he asked and the thief flinched, turning around. "Uh...I...uh...I'm sorry, please don't tell anyone where I am. I just.." Tom lifted his hand telling them to stop and chuckled. "There are other ways to care for them you know." The thief took of their hood to reveal long, ratty unnaturally blue hair and hazel-green eyes. She looked young and lonely, you could tell by her eyes. "Are you alone?" Tom had asked her. "I always have been, the only friends I've ever had are animals. But they always get taken away or die.."she said, tears started running down her face. "I'm n-never able to-to save th-them." She managed to sob and cried into her hands. The girl felt cold, everything was dark as she shut her eyes, waiting for the mysterious man to turn her in or laugh at her. However she felt a warm cloth being thrown on her and an arm around her shoulder. "You're not alone anymore..." he said, and she looked at him, only to be met with kind black filled eyes. 'Not like I was.' Tom had thought. Her head swayed and sobbed into his chest, leaving water stains in his white shirt. Between sobs she had asked, "W-why do you ca-care?" Tom only shushed her and rubbed circles to her back. After what felt like hours of sitting, crying and comfort, she had lifted her tired head from Tom and apoligized for the trouble she had caused. "You did it out of goodwill, you wanted your friends to survive and that's a noble thing." The girl had looked at Tom with amazement and inspiration, never has anyone told her this, no one was ever there to support her. "M-my name i-is Gazelle." she had said as she dusted herself off and stood up. "Hello, Gazelle. My name is Tom."
