Tom groaned, blinking his eyes open as he lifted his pounding head off the cold stone floor. He was chained around his left ankle and saw bars in front of his face, "What happened?" he mentally asked himself. Tom looked around, seeing nothing but stone walls, metal bars ,a plate of food and the next cell over. It was too fuzzy to see who they were, Tom rubbed his eyes and blinking so he could see; in the next cell over, a body was slumped on its side and their hair...had two messy horns. "T-tord?" Tom tried to call out, but his voice was raspy and weak, so instead he took the chain around his ankle and slammed it against the wall. Tord jolted up and looked around in alert, he was dazed when he did so, completely skipping over Tom. The red clad grunted and held his stomach, "mm w-where the hell am I?" he asked himself loudly. His eyes fluttered open and close until he finally made an attempt to stand; he almost fell the first time, but caught his balance and looked around. "Thomas!" Tord exclaimed, gripping the bars of his own cell. Tom had looked to him and smiled, seeing that Tord wasn't injured. "Oh God, what have they done to you?" Tom could hear slight sobs coming from his royal lover, "I'll kill them. I'LL KILL THEM ALL!!"
"Tord...Tord look at me!" Tom shouted, possibly getting many other stares. "Calm down, they aren't important right now. What we need to focus on is our kingdom and our daughter," Tom continued, hearing shocked gasps and captivating Tord in his 'eyes,' "we need to escape."

There was dead silence, nothing had made a sound as the two kings stared deeply into each other's eyes, down to their souls. This was sadly interrupted by an abrupt laughter echoing the halls. "Hah, that's priceless!!"
"Best thing, I've heard since coming here!"
"Escape, HA!! As if."
"Did you hear what he said? Our daughter! Haha."
Tord glared down the halls, anger pulsing his blood; he didn't care what they said about escape, but no one made jokes about his family. There was nothing Tord wanted to do more than bend those bars and rip every last one of their throats out. "Oi, will you shut up already?!" A cold voice yelled, quickly silencing everyone in that room. Tom turned his head to see someone's legs, the shadows covering the top half of his body, helping the man lean against the wall. "Who cares if two men are together?" the halls had quieted down and some even hid out of the man's view, "Yeah, that's what I thought." Tord looked at the very man that Tom had, "who are you?" The man just grunted in response and turned away, 'Definitely not the talkative type,' Tom thought before trying to get comfortable. "Thomas, are you ok?" Tom looked up and turned to Tord with a sad smile, "I am since you're here." All Tom wanted to do was reach out and hold Tord, hug him and scold him for running off into battle. Wapssh! W apssh! Wapssh!  A loud and ear raping sound echoed throughout the stone walls, it had the resemblance of a whip, cracking in the air. "Why hello, my darlings!!" A preppy, confident voice rang their ears. Tom heard groans coming from the man in the back and few of the other prisoners, but some prisoners seemed scared and clutching onto themselves. "Now, I heard we have some newcomers today," he had chirped, "we can't leave them out of the fun, now can we?" He walked up to the space between Tom and Tord's cells. He looked left and right, examining the kings in chains and was about to choose. "Eeny, meeny, miney...you," this man had pointed to his next victim, a devilish grin plastered onto his face. Tord started to back away with a glare in his eyes, Tom flinched forward in reflex. He needed to protect Tord, he didn't want the only person that loves him to be taken away. Tom's chains clanked together and made quite a ruckus, that guard or whatever he was turned around before he even turned Tord's key.
"Oh my, you're quite a troublemaker aren't you?" He said as he pulled Tom's head up by his hair. Tom's eyes began to water in pain and his teeth gritted together only before the man in silky garments whispered in his ear, "We're going to have a lot of fun." The man said this and then nibbled on Tom's ear, feeling satisfaction out of the whimpers that came from the man's mouth. All Tord did was stare in shock, he didn't hear what that douche had said but he did hear Tom whimper. "Get the fuck away from him!!" Tord yelled to the man, "I don't care who you are, but leave Thomas alone." Only a laugh, "So...it's Thomas. What a sight." With that, he turned on his heels and left. The heels on his boots sounded the long hall and his curly strawberry blond hair bounced with each step. Once the door closed shut, Tord looked right at Tom, scrambling off the floor. "Thomas, are you ok?!" Tom just stared at the door, rubbing the tears from his eyes and patting his temples to stop the headache. "I...i-im fine, Tord. I'm j...just shocked," Tom said, trying to calm his love down with himself. "Who does that bastard think he is?!" Tord yelled, hoping the man would hear them as well. "That was Damien, the obvious torturer for this duegeon. He's loud, annoying and always gets what he wants," that same cold voice said in the back. "Seems you're going to become his next favorite, black eyes." Tom shivered, he didn't want to admit it but again, he felt scared. It wasn't as bad as it was at the kingdom, but Damien didn't seem like someone who will stop even if you ask him to. "Thomas... I'll protect you. If it's the last thing I do, I won't let him touch you," Tord reached out for the man across the hall. His hand couldn't get all the way there, he was only midway, Tom reached his hand out too until they were at least touching. Loud sighs escaped their lips and a smile formed on both of their faces. What they didn't notice was a glimmer of hope on the man in the back's face.
