"Gazelle..?" Gazelle had awoken from her dream, more of a memory, she stretched and rubbed her eyes. As she turned to the devil-horned man dressed in a red suit beside her, "Hello Father." Tord smiled and sat next to her, the cold wind blew past their ears and the water from the stream trickled downward. They sat under the shade of a cherry blossom in full bloom. "Tom said you would be here." Tord stated for his young girl to hear. "Daddy always knows where I am, doesn't he?" Tord chuckled and nodded, looking into Gazelle's nature themed eyes. "Thank you, Father."
"Now how many times have I told you, it wasn't us. You were chosen to be our daughter." Tord said for probably the thousandth time in a year. "I know, but out of all the people to find me it was daddy. He took me in and then somehow you did too. I just feel like I don't deserve all that you have given me." Tord looked shocked, never has his adopted daughter said this to him or Tom. 'Has she always felt this way.' Tord thought and soon, hugged the girl. "You deserve every bit, because every bit of you is better than all the treasure of the world." Gazelle looked to her foster father and smiled, which turned to a smirk. "Is that how you flirted with Daddy?" Tord's face flushed, and he ended up to stutter. "Well..I-i uh." Gazelle laughed, "Gotcha!!" Tord sighed, "Gazelle, I meant what I said. Tom has a good eye, he wouldn't have chosen anyone else if he didn't think they were worth it." Gazelle leaned closer so that she on her father's should, feeling him cackle, "And no!! Our love was a beautiful bond that started when hunting season began!" He had stated, making his daughter laugh and hug him even more. They laughed and played on that small hill, but soon had to return to their castle.

Tord was distressed, a kingdom not too far, one his father wanted to become allies with, had called war upon them. Their king hated the fact to men loved each other and that actually brought more people from other kingdoms to move in. "We were so close, how can they hate us already?" Tord fumed towards his guardsmen, Paul and Patryck to be exact. "Sire, calm down. We know this can be stressful, people are judgemental," Patryck tried to stop Tord from pacing around. Paul was by the doorway, arms crossed over his chest as he stared at the two. "You got to tell Tom." Tord froze and looked at the man, he sighed; Yes, it was true that they knew about this for a week or so now. He knew he had to tell Tom, but he didn't quite know how to put it into words. "I know, I know. I...I just don't know how," the words sounded stupid once they exited his mouth. Paul opened his mouth, but the doors opening beat him to it. All three heads turned to a man in a blue cloak and his arms crossed, Tord sucked in a breath, "I knew something was bothering you." Tom had spoken with a smile, a sincere smile as if he had understood. Tord stared blankly at his husband, blinking in confusion, "Y-you're not mad?"
"Oh no, Im mad. You know you should have told me," Tom said sternly, "But what hurt me more was that you tried to bottle up your emotions again." Tord looked at the cloaked man in front of him, his eyes started to tear up and gleam, "Im so sorry." Tom embraced the taller man and rubbed circles in his back, in efforts to calm him. Paul and Patryck had joined the hug as well, it ward Tord's heart, to know how many people that are willing to be there for him. He sniffled, "Alright, I'm good. Let's figure out a plan if they attack." Tord stood at the table along with Tom, Paul and Patryck at his side. They spent that day and the rest of the week, planning and preparing armies and strategies for a war. Tom and Tord had told Gazelle about the war, and that it had to be of recent activities. "Are you saying it may be because the kingdom has to kings?" she had asked, looking at her parents with sympathy. They turned to each other, Tom sighed and Tord held their hands. "Dont worry, I'll make sure they won't get to either one of you," the kissed Tom's hand, getting a snicker out of the other male and kissed his daughter's cheek. Gazelle smiled at her two dads, but she still worried for them. There hasn't been many wars declared upon this kingdom in ages. This was so sudden and so cruel.
