 PROLOGUE-  

When I was young everyone used to say that when you enter high school you usually find your guy, your perfect guy, The right guy. But I used to wonder why do we find that ONE person in high school only, why not elsewhere?

How can you just believe that he will always be there during your best and worst times , standing next to you ...

It's  been 3 months since I've started high school and I'm still single and haven't found any guy who even resembles 'The One' for me. Sometimes I wonder if I will even find him in high school or not . But my life is perfect right now or that's how I see it. The one thing that I do believe in is "destiny" and As they say "whatever happens, it happens for a reason"....

 You're probably wondering who I am...well.. I'm Maira. A 16 year old who loves her life the way it is. I may not be popular but people know me as the bubbly and happy go-lucky girl that always has a smile on her face.

My best friend Natalie or "Nat" as I call her, is sensible but usually hyper and a fashion diva while I prefer to be simple, but elegant. She's like my soul-sister and my  pillar of support for everything!

With 2 weeks of holidays nearly over, this is my last weekend of enjoyment left.

Tomorrow there is this Huge party that everyone has been waiting for and I'm  sure Nat is going to drag me along as usual. Moreover my parents encourage her rather than supporting my decision  to stay at home instead and enjoy this last weekend!

So with fingers crossed lets hope that this time, I get to stay home instead.
