Chapter 7-First day

Sorry for updating late but my life is pretty hectic these days.Hope you enjoy ! :)

School is starting from today and I spend the last day thinking of Daniel !

CHAPTER 7 -

A new day , a new session at school and a new matter to worry about. I guess or Rather , I'm sure that these last 3 days have made an impact on my life with this new guy and I hope I don't regret taking things further with him.

I got up with the alarm on my phone set up with random favorite songs and for today it was an old song-*Right here waiting for you*by Richard. It had been one of my mom's favorite songs too. I started singing along with my alarm . It was a song anyone would have loved it in one go and my favorite was only one paragraph of the song which was -

I listened to the song repeatedly as I got up and dressed in a pair of dark denim jeans and a white checked shirt and added white flip flops that matched perfectly . I looked exactly the way I wanted to ,simple and nice.I combed my hair and rushed for breakfast . And to my surprise for the first time Nat was here , totally ready before me.

We rushed to school and I told Nat how I had started having those butterflies in my tummy for Daniel . She warned me how she never wanted to see me hurt as I was a delicate emotional girl and how , now we were going to find out how nice he actually was when all those hot slutty bitches would throw themselves at him for his looks,specially if this guy didn't even drink except on special occasions and was still cool and fun and not a spoilt-sport.

I was a little lost in my thoughts when I realized we had reached school. I was able to spot a Volvo in the parking and my gut feeling said it was his. I checked the number plate and I was right. Nat rushed towards her friends and I tagged along seeing we had a common friend circle which included Brian , Linda , Carol and John .

After talking for a while we all decided to go towards our classes before we are late. I was about to enter the building when I spotted Daniel talking to 2 guys on my right and that shocked me that no girl was pawing at him yet.

He shouted while running towards me - "Maira , Maira ... stop ! " .

I turned to see him and he hi5-ed me and gave me that oh so cute and charming smile of his .

I helped him with his schedule for the classes of the following day and we did have Psychology and English together .

I guided him for his first class which was Economics and then rushed towards mine. Throughout the entire day,I rushed after my class to first drop him for his next class and then go for mine. He surely had made some friends but mostly boys of popular groups and to my surprise,whenever I crossed THE BITCHES,I got those killer stares .

I kept wondering why were they glaring at me and not talking to him themselves,he was talking to guys of the same group and not girls ! The way he behaves around the popular group of the school would tell his nature and he hadn't talked to girls yet.

I introduced him to my friend circle because for my absence I was questioned. He smiled and was pretty comfortable talking to everyone in my group .

The day was at its end and he had made some friends by himself and did talk to girls but not the popular girls and I still kept getting those glares.

He gave me a ride home after school and we greeted a good bye to all my friends and he told me how much he liked it here and asked me just one thing -

" Why are the girls in this school acting so slutty?"

I smiled back not knowing the reply but did ask him - " what happened ? " .

He said - " nothing " and continued driving.

He left me and said a thanks and left . He din't kiss me today which means he wasn't one of the guys to rush things at least .

Later that evening he texted me. And almost instantly I replied.

daniel-hello!

Me-hey!

Daniel-how are you? And what were you doing ?

Me-nothing as such just finished my home-work and assignments. You?

Daniel-me too ! So tell me Chinese or Italian?

Me- umm .. Chinese but Italian is equally good. You ?

Daniel-couldn't you choose one, it would have been easier for me , future reference ;)

Me-hehehe ... Somethings don't go the way we want it to happen , you ought to struggle .

keep wondering and keep thinking.

Daniel-you know what , you are a girl but not a typical one.

Me-what's that supposed to mean?

Daniel-keep wondering baby ! I have to leave now.bye

Me-bye!

We again texted that night but that was just a normal conversation and he didn't leave me puzzled or wondering this time and was straight forward with his replies.

The day passed but the question in my mind was still there , 'Is he faking it' or what ? because it was next to impossible for girls not to throw themself at him. And was he avoiding the girls or .... I ended up with that fact that - I was clueless and it was better to calm down and wait for another day .
