"Wake up, Kate!" my cousin brother yelled in my ear. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Another school day. Groan. Ugghh, we also have a 40 marks test today. I freshened myself and changed into my uniform. The smell of pancakes made me go downstairs. I drowned my pancakes in syrup, ate quickly and left for school. I have this cool squad called KATS which stands for Kate, Ally, Tory and Sarah. *Skip to after school cuz school is boring😂*
After School "Kate, I have to talk to you. We are moving." My mom said. "WHAAAAT????!" I shrieked. "When?? Where.!!" "Next week. To Berkshire in UK. Your dad got a promotion so we are shifting there." UK, that's a different CONTINENT!????? NOOO! My friends, my school, my whole life is in LA! (Sorry dramatic😉😜) My friends... I have to tell them NOW. KATS Kate🌹, Sarah👑, Ally💕 and Tory😼 have joined the chat. Kate🌹: Squad Meeting in the park in 10 mins Sarah👑:What happened Ally💕: Is it important?? Kate🌹: Yesss come QUICK! Tell u when u reach there. Tory😼:On my way. ... "What happened?" asked Tory "I'm moving. To UK." I sniffed. "WHAAAAT?????!" They all shrieked. I nodded and sniffed. "We have to make the most of time left," said Tory, hugging me tightly. I gave them a watery smile and we have a group hug. The rest of the week we have fun with sleepovers, movies and shopping. We gave each other special gifts too. I bought Sarah this heart necklace which says 'Best Friend'. I wear half and she wears half.

Flight no.101 boarding to Berkshire in 15 minutes. I sighed and listened to the songs on my playlist (Shape of You by Ed Sheeran, Chained to the Rhythm by Katy Perry, etc.) We boarded the flight. I sat in the window seat and looked at the clouds and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Kate's POV
I jumped out of the car and stared at Berkshire. The breeze was pleasant and the sun was shining. Maybe UK was not so bad after all. I entered the house. It was pretty big. I ran inside and chose the room on the top floor. It was already decorated and looked amazing.

"Dibs on this room'" I yelled and grabbed my stuff from downstairs. I went back up with my stuff and sat on the bed. I looked out of the window. It had a view of the neighbours house and the road. I could see a brown haired boy doing something on his phone in his bedroom. I quickly unpacked my clothes (by unpack I mean stuffing them in the closet😂) and went outside to explore. A car stops in the front of the neighbours gate and a brown haired boy with hazel eyes walks out. Wait, didn't I just see him in his bedroom??? "Hi," he said "Are you one of the new neighbours?." "Yes, we just moved in. I'm Kate." I replied. "What school are you going to?" He asked. "I go to ******(some random school)" I said. "Cool, I go there too! Maybe I could show you around later?" He requested. "Sure. Bye!"I said. I immediately go inside and text my friends. I just realised he didn't give me his name. Never mind, I'll ask him in school. KATS Kate🌹, Sarah👑, Ally💕 and Tory😼 have joined the chat. Kate🌹:Hey reached Berkshire. House is awsum! Just met a boy who's gonna show me around at school..Berkshires not that bad.missing u guys😢❤️ Sarah👑:Missing u 2! I turned my phone off and ran downstairs. I realised I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast and stuffed my mouth with food. I tell my mom about the boy. "Good, at least you will know someone at school. Oh and by the way, I put your school uniform in the washroom." My mom smiled. "Thanks, mom! I'm going up," I replied. I went upstairs and checked my social media. Fifteen new likes on my latest musically. That was good. I went through my other social media sites and by the time I was done with all it was 9 o' clock.
