Harvey's POV
I don't think I've ever seen Kate like that. I saw her walk out of the girls washroom, completely drenched in water and her cheek was red and she had a big bruise. She was crying also. I ran after her. She went somewhere and I lost her. I saw her again, walking out of school with a leave note.
"Kate!" I yelled, running after her. "Wait! Kate!"
She started walking even more fast. I finally caught up with her and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Kate." I asked her kindly. "What's wrong?"
She turns around and I can see her eyes burning from holding back tears.
I look straight into her eyes so I can tell if she's lying or not. I can do that.
Kate takes a deep breath.
"Nothing!" She yells suddenly, making me jump. "Just get out of my life!" A tear rolls down her bruised cheek. That hurt. She turns and runs away. I stand there in shock trying to hold back my own tears. Why would Kate do that?
I go home and start sobbing. I remember the anger in her eyes when she yelled that. I lock myself in my room and text her.
