Hey guys, I know. I'm gonna get those requests up soon, I've just been bombarded with school crap and all that. But this is one of the first requests that I got so enjoy!

Pairing: Dick Grayson x reader

Prompt: Soulmate au where your vision is shades of your soulmate's eye color

Blue. That's all you saw. Blue ever since you could see clearly. Everybody has a different eye color and you still don't know what yours was, considering all you could see was shades of blue. That only meant one thing: your soulmate had extremely blue eyes. Blue eyes that must be beautiful.

There you were; sitting in the Bludhaven police department's questioning room. Now, you honestly didn't know what you were doing there and you were pretty sure that the officer that took you in, hated you. He made you get checked by a wand and by hands. He was a perv too, so that only made your anger for him escalate.

"Could you quit looking at my chest?!" You screamed at him. He looked at your face and he began to walk towards you.

"Hey, why dont you leave the lady alone, huh, Jake?" Your eyes followed the soft voice to a man. He was an officer also. The man called Jake growled and left. The new officer came towards you. He was tall and had a certain swagger in his step. His eyes were what caught your attention. They were a shade of blue that stuck out in your blue vision.  "Sorry about him. He's quite the jackass. I'm Officer Grayson, but you can call me Dick, everybody does." You chuckled as he said his name.

"Please tell me that your personality is the opposite of your nickname?" You asked. Dick ran a hand through his hair causing it to spike up in different directions. He smiled.

"I like to think that I'm charming and chivalrous, but I guess I can be mean sometimes," he answered. You smiled and sat back in your chair. The hand cuffs connected to the table forcing your hands to resist against the cold metal. "You want me to remove those for you?"

"Woah, woah, woah, you actually want to remove hand cuffs from me? You do realize that I am the one who is the prisoner right?" He chuckled.

"Yes, I do realize that. But I also like to follow my own conscience and my conscience says to let you go, because you have done nothing wrong."

"This isn't just a way to get me to go on a date with you, is it?" You began to get skeptical.

"Well, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. You should know though, I don't usually do this."

"What, date a woman? Cause I am totally fine with you swinging for the other team!" You queried. His eyes went wide and he rapidly shook his head.

"What no!! I'm not gay!"

"Are you saying that you don't like people who are?" His mouth widened and he had gotten confused.

"No! I like everybody except for Jake, but that is entirely besides the point! Look, I love everybody! Everybody loves me!" He answered. You were having fun.

"Okay there Barney, let me know when you can pick me up. I'm free Saturday thru Tuesday. Make sure to give me a call." You had quickly removed the hand cuffs yourself since Dick had set the key in front of you. As you walked by, you slipped a piece of paper into his pocket and patted his back. As soon as you placed your small hand on his back, you saw something different. Something weird. Something new. He quickly turned around and looked at you. Surprise was evident on his face.

"You-you're-me and you- we're....woah..." was all he said. You smiled widely and he stood there frozen in shock. You gripped him tightly around the waist as you squealed in glee. He laughed and hugged you back.

"Yes! I finally found you!" You shouted.

"So, uh, does this mean that we are more than just friends or something?"

"It could be. I mean, we still have that date, Grayson..." you said his name lowly and saw him go still.

"Uh, um, Jerry! I'm taking the rest of the day off!" He yelled.

Extended Ending

"Hey, Demon Spawn, it worked. They are most definitely perfect for each other."

"Are they? I knew our plan would work. Now, all we need to do is find Drake a suitable partner."

"Masters Jason and Damian, I have some cookies ready for you here at the manor. You might want to arrive before Master Tim eats them all," Alfred said over the com link. Jason and Damian shared a look of horror as they almost fell off of the building tying to run towards the manor.
