"Anita, would you please find Prince Damien and tell him to meet me in the 'Gold Room' please?" I ordered my mother's personal assistant. She nodded and scattered up the stairs to Prince Damien's room I suppose.

I walked down the staircase, nodding my head at the guards by the front door and turned left to walk down the corridor. The gold room is where one of my maids set up an elaborate brunch for my first date with Damien. Thinking of his name brought back the memories of when I kissed him in the garden, remembering that moment made me remember the touch of his lips, making me blush.

"Princess, does everything look alright?" My maid brought me out of my trance as I entered the gold room. I scanned the room, looking at the beautiful golden walls and the view of the garden outside the window. The table in the middle of the room had been set up with food and tea neatly. "This is perfect, thank you." I smiled at the blonde maid. She nodded and left the room, hands behind her back. I was left alone except guards stood in front of the doors outside the open room.

I heard footsteps prance into the room and I whipped my head to the side, noticing Prince Damien standing there with a black blazer and white shirt on his torso and at his legs, he wore black trousers.

"Princess." He bowed, looking up at me with a cheeky smile. I walked over to him and placed out my hand for him to take. He clasped it and I guided him to the window, letting go. "What?" He questioned me, looking outside the window like I did.

I pointed to the tree which had a birds nest in and baby birds chirped in it. "I come look at them everyday. So adorable." I stated. "Indeed." He said in a calming tone. I smiled, turning to face the handsome prince before me.

"I'm happy to see you again Prince Damien. Welcome to one of my favorite rooms in the palace."

"I'm glad to see you once again too Princess Amanda. And why thank you, it's very shiny in here." He laughed quietly as it was quite quiet in this room. I walked to the bookshelf, putting the black speaker on to play some piano music.

"Shall we?" Damien asked, holding my chair out when I turned around to face the table. I nodded and sat down, letting him tuck my chair in and walk to his seat, sitting down as well. I hummed softly to the music as we both began taking our food. I saw Damien chuckle from across the table and then take a sip of his orange juice that sat as well, on the table.

"Tell me more about yourself Prince." I started a conversation as we began eating. I cut my cheese croissant in half and began eating it with my fork politely. I looked at Damien who nodded, swallowing his food and then beginning to speak.

"Well, ever since my brother, Patrick died when I was 7 years old, I've always been very closed up. Many walls that i've built, especially in my very few relationships that i've had and I suppose that is why i've never quite had a successful relationship with a woman." He confessed, his face going serious.

"I can see that you telling me that was difficult, i'm happy you told me though Damien. I hope that your walls can be brought down with us. In our relationship." I answered him after a few moments. He smiled at me, then continued eating.

"Hahaha!" I laughed at Prince Damien's funny story of when he flew a kite into a tree, tried to grab it by climbing the tree and accidentally fell out.

"Hey! It was very bad! I broke my arm in four places that day." He said with a gentle smile on his face. I held back my laughter and smiled back as we walked around the garden together, like usual.

"I think this is our tradition, walking around garden's together. What do you think?" I said while Damien held my hand. His hand was unbelievably soft and strong. I felt protected when I was with him.

"Oh yes Princess, I totally agree. We should do this every time we see one another." Damien agreed with me, squeezing my hand quickly then letting go. He stopped abruptly, making me stop and look at him in front of me.

"I have something to confess, Princess."

I bit my lip with nervousness, one of my many bad habits that I do when I start to get anxious or stressed out. Realizing I was hurting my lip, I stopped right away and nodded at the Prince who stood tall in front of me. I peered up at him. "What is your confession?"

He hesitated for a moment then spoke, coming closer to me.

"I like you, a lot."

I giggled at his words. "Ah shoot, have I confessed too early? Is there a rule for that?" He stressed. I grabbed his shoulder and grinned at him happily.

"No Damien, you can say whatever you wish." I told him. "And for the record, I like you a lot, too."
