Every love story is beautiful, but our story is my favourite. The story of one princess meeting her prince charming and falling deeply in love, enough to abandon her duty as a queen and pass it on to another family member.
Love isn't something you find. It's something that simply finds you.
Waking up at 7am didn't seem like a agonizing thing it seemed like the beginning of the rest of my life. I got up, kissing my fiancé's cheek and left with my maids who held all of my toiletries to prepare me in a separate room. Guests would be arriving for the grand event at 2pm and the wedding would begin at 3:30pm. Charlie's family arrived yesterday and moved into the guest house up the mountain for the weekend.
"Princess, this is hair stylist Olivia Marken. She will be doing your hair today and this is your makeup artist Hannah Donal. We'll begin with washing and preparing your skin." My maid Elizabeth told me. I could see she was hiding back all of her excitement. I would miss her when I left the castle.
"Okay. Thank you ladies." I nodded. I placed my hands on my lap and asked for a glass of water to hydrate before the big day. I know I would need to drink a lot today from all the talking and dancing that would be happening.
The ladies did my makeup and hair perfectly within two hours, styling me to look absolutely radiant. I felt so beautiful wearing this all. I wore a white robe until I had to change into my lovely wedding gown that I got designed from a professional wedding dress designer from France. Jackie Delauré.
"Your bridesmaids are in a separate room and already ready. Would you like them to come inside princess Amanda?" One of the other maids asked me at the door. I turned to look at her with a grin. "Yes please."
She opened the door and my three favourite girls walked in with smiles on their faces, walking fast towards me. "Amanda! You look so amazing! I have like no words!" Alissa commented, making me stand and hug her. Melissa and Harriet came to hug me next.
"Thank you girls! You all look so beautiful in those rose gold gowns!" I replied.
"Where's the dress?!" Melissa looked around the bedroom, searching. I pointed to the walk-in closet. The three girls ran to the closet that had my dress on a mannequin. I heard gasps and walked to them with laugher springing out.
"This is the most beautiful thing I have seen in my entire life...." Harriet exclaimed. I giggled and watched Melissa hold her belly with her little baby bump. She smiled widely and beamed with her pregnancy glow.
"Okay girls! It's time to get Amanda into her dress! Out the room!" I heard Martha, the wedding planner yell from the door of the gigantic closet. The girls nodded and left the closet, leaving me alone with my maids to undress and get help placing on my wedding gown.
Once it was on, I stared into the mirror at myself and teared up. This dress just pushed me off the edge, making the emotional day even more emotional. I looked perfect.

"Okay okay! Places everybody. We've got three hundred people outside in the grounds. Don't screw up." Martha sternly told my bridesmaids. They nodded and obeyed her politely. I could hear the hundreds of people talking outside. It suddenly went silent and all I could hear was beautiful music playing. This signalled for the bridesmaids to start walking down the aisle. They blew me good luck kisses and eventually strolled off. Leaving me and my father to grasp arms and breathe nervously together. I was super nervous but he kissed my forehead.
