"I haven't seen you in forever. Something seems different about you..." Damien looked at me. I laughed nervously. Yeah something has changed...I lost my virginity.
"Haha nothing changed. Sorry I skipped tea last night I was so busy with work. You understand right?" I asked as he grabbed my hand, taking me for a walk down the hallway.
"Of course. Duty calls. I heard from a maid that you were crying although?" He questioned me, looking for answers.
"Oh yeah..I was very emotional yesterday. Choosing between one of you is...difficult." I blurted out.
He stopped in his tracks. "You're choosing one of us already?" He asked me. I nodded back.
"Wow...." Damien muttered softly and continued walking. "When?"
"Tonight. We'll be setting up the ballroom."
We continued walking in silence. Clearly he was in shock. I didn't want to hurt him. "I have to go get ready actually. I'll see you tonight." I smiled.
"Can't wait." He smiled back. I walked to my room, thinking of all the ways i'd say what I needed to say. Charlie and I have had a lot of rough patches but I love him so much. He's the prince I want to marry and I believe him.
Speak of the devil. Charlie stood with a smile and hands behind his back as he waited by the guards at my door. "Hello lovely." He bowed. "Why hello, come on in." I opened my doors and in we walked. The guards shut them behind me and sun shone through my windows.
"Just confirming my love, you are indeed picking me right?" He fidgeted with his hands. I walked up to him, taking them and looking into his beautiful eyes. "Yes i'm choosing you. I want to marry you so badly...I love you."
"God it's amazing to hear that. I love you more darling. You look lovely by the way. I should get going now because i'll have to go pick out your ring!" I giggled at how happy he was.
"Oh yes I forgot about that..we'll be engaged tonight...." I gasped. He leant down and pressed his lips against mine.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

After all of our preparations in the ballroom and inviting both families of the prince's here, I was finally ready. I was ready to choose the man I wanted to marry. I picked out a dress that was new in the gown room. It was a purple sparkly one that fits tight at the waist and my maids did my hair, makeup, nails, toes, shaved me.Elizabeth smiled at me when she saw me stand in front of the mirror happily twirling. "You can do this princess. Good luck." She whispered when they all left. She followed after and I smiled back at her.
I replayed in my mind what would be happening tonight. First Damien's family would come in to meet me then he would be coming in, expressing his love for me and proposing. I could say no or yes. I already knew the answer would be no. Then he would leave with his family who was watching along with mine. Next, Charlie's family would come in and meet me then Charlie would come in, express his love and I would express mine. He will propose and I will say yes.
I blushed at the thought that we would be sleeping in the same room tonight. As a couple.
"It's time to go princess." A guard came in, extending his arm for me to take. We walked downstairs to the royal ballroom and I entered in, feeling a bit nervous. My parents greeted me, hugging me tightly. Alissa stood beside them and I didn't bother hugging her. "Father i'm so glad to see you looking healthier. You look very handsome."
"You look so stunning Amanda. I am so proud of you sweetheart." He looked at my dress. Mother teared up. "You look divine darling. Now good luck."
They went to stand by the back of the room and I waited for Damien's family to come in. Soon enough, they came in hand in hand. Only his parents came. I extended my hand and shook their hands. "Splendid to meet you both." I curtsied. They smiled back and then walked to the other side of the ballroom. This was it....
Damien came in, dressed in a black suit. I watched as he came in with a giant smile and a ring obviously in his back pocket. I smiled gently at him. He came in and hugged me, kissing my hand afterward. All eyes were on us now.
"Amanda. You are so magnificent, beautiful, smart, diligent, kind, caring, passionate and I always manage to laugh with you. I love you so much and I really want to spend the rest of my life with you. As your husband." He expressed, getting down on one knee. My stomach had tons of butterflies inside. He opened the box, revealing an astonishingly beautiful ring inside.
"Princess Amanda Wentworth of the Isle of Man, will you marry me?" I gulped.
I shook my head, closing my eyes tightly. "Stand up." I whispered. He sighed and put the ring away, standing to face me.
"Damien. You're an incredible person, an amazing man. I do love you but..i'm so sorry.. my connection is stronger with Charlie. Damien nodded and hugged me tightly, walking to his family and they all three exited. I sighed and looked to my father who nodded.
I stood in the middle of the ballroom, waiting for his parents to come in. Maybe even one of his siblings.. I wonder what they all look like. I wonder if his mother is so beautiful.
Suddenly in came a lot of people. His mother came in, her blond hair in a bun. She was more beautiful than I expected. His father stood at her side, Charlie looked like him a lot. They came up to me and I extended my hand out politely, shaking his mother's and his father's Charlie's many brothers stood behind them, waiting to shake my hand as well.
"It's so lovely to meet you all, thank you for coming." I nodded. They all smiled and walked to the other end. I smiled widely when Charlie came in the room, looking dashing in a black and white tuxedo. The one we wore the day we met.
Charlie came over and hugged me tightly, kissing my cheek and backing up a step. I smiled as he begun talking, nervousness in his tone.
"Amanda Wentworth. You're the most beautiful, intelligent, passionate, daring, loving person i've ever met. We always seem to be going on adventures together, doing something new and finding ways to express our love through little things. I love you so much darling. I will spend everyday with you, telling you how lucky I am to have you as my wife if we get married." He teared up, smiling still. I laughed, tearing up as well.
He knelt down, looking up at me with a box that was in his pocket and opened it, revealing an amazing ring, a beautiful ring. My ring.
"Princess Amanda Wentworth, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" He asked, love in his voice.
"Yes! Yes yes yes!" I said loudly, blinking my tears away. He stood up and placed it on my finger. Our families cheered loudly from the sides. "I love you so much." I cried as Charlie brought me into a huge embrace, spinning me around. He put me down and cupped my face with his hands, kissing me hardly.
"We're engaged."
