- 4 Months Later, Isle of Man-

Life has a way of surprising you. Good or bad and I've experienced my fair share of good surprises and bad surprises in my lifetime. This years surprise was definitely a good one with Charlie and I meeting and falling in love.

Tomorrow's my wedding day and I couldn't be happier. Charlie and I have been planning for a while with our mothers and our wedding planner Martha. Four months later from when we were engaged certainly was not a long stretch but we can't wait. We're ready to be married and start our lives together.

Melissa, Harriet and Alissa are to be my bridesmaids while Dillon, Jake, and Damien are Charlie's groomsmen. Yes Damien, you heard me right. Damien and Charlie aren't close family but they are family and they have gotten close these past months especially since Alissa and Damien have been dating. Yep. Alissa has been doing great and she has completely changed into such an amazing woman ever since the engagement party. I'm proud of her and seeing Damien is hard for me and for him but he's happy now and he moved on with Alissa. They're quite cute together.

"Darling, can I ask you a question?" I was unwrapping some pre-wedding presents from distant family who couldn't come to the wedding tomorrow. The whole castle was going hectic with setting up for the wedding we would be having outside on the grounds.

"Yes sure hun, what is it?" I asked him, continuing to unwrap presents. Charlie was helping by writing 'thank you' notes to all the family who sent each present.

"Do you want to be queen? Do you want that for our family?"

I stopped wrapping and looked over to Charlie who looked super serious with a plain look on his face.

"Of course Charlie. I mean, sometimes I want a normal life and a normal house but being queen is my life duty...I will have to take over soon and we'll be king and queen. You're okay with that right?"

"Sometimes I just want a life out of the spotlight and in our own simple mansion outside the castle. Privately. I want that but I want to make you happy and be king and queen."

I looked down at the floor realizing that maybe my almost-husband didn't want this. He didn't want the life of a king. Maybe he just wanted to be simple. "I mean, if i'm not the queen after my mother then...her sister could be queen. Alissa's mother. Then her family would be the royal family. Do you want that...?"

Charlie shrugged and I was confused as ever. Did he want it or did he not want it?

"Charlie. I need a valid answer. Do you want to be the king or not? If not then i'm fine with that. We can go move outside of the castle and we can get our own mansion and our own staff..we can raise our future children there."

"I don't want you to disappoint your family if you're not the queen Amanda...."

"Charlie. Yes or no?" I asked more sternly now. This was a serious topic and he seemed like he was taking it lightly.

"No. I don't want to be the king and be forced to live in this castle forever. Our children to be raised to be proper and not to have fun or be happy. My family is happy and fun but when I was a kid I just wanted to play and enjoy my life. I couldn't."

I walked over to Charlie, taking his hand. "Charlie. I'm perfectly fine with that okay? We're family now. We're getting married tomorrow! And we will raise our children outside of the castle. It will all be fine."

My fiancé stood up and brought me into a hug. "Let's go for our last date not as a married couple. Come." Charlie spoke, linking hands with mine and taking me outside of our messy room. We walked downstairs, passing by my parents who were on a stroll too. We smiled at them and continued walking toward the backdoors.

"You did not..." I laughed at Charlie. I looked outside at the grass which had a table with candles, flowers, fruit and vegetables, champagne and some cutlery. We walked outside, stepping out onto the grass. I stopped Charlie and looked into his eyes.

"I love you." I said passionately. He smiled down at me.

"I love you too my darling. You're the greatest gift that life could have given me."

I placed my lips on his lips, kissing him gently. We exchanged kisses and held each other in out arms. Cherishing the last moments we would be together without being a married couple.

"Come on, let's go eat." Charlie said, backing away from our kissing and leading me to the table. Smiles both plastered on our faces the rest of the day.
