Returning from my trip with Charlie out at sea was awkward since our really serious chat about who I liked and wanted to choose. I told the truth though, that is honestly all you could ever truly do. Which is also why I appreciated yesterday greatly, because he asked me a question that he truthfully wanted answers to.

My maids helped me dress in a simple short blue gown, prepping for my date with Damien today. We would be heading out to walk
along the beautiful beach today, then go out and eat at a lovely five-star restaurant that we'd already gotten reservations for. "Which ones your highness?" One of the maids asked me, holding out two pairs of earrings. I pointed to the silver ones on the right. They had diamonds in and were simple and elegant at the same time.

My maids sprayed on perfume for me and started applying my makeup. One of them did my hair, waving it with a curling iron. I watched them work magic in the mirror before us in my suite. I had grown a fond liking to this mansion hotel in St. Lucia. It suited my taste because it was very modern and new, very different from the castle at home.

"You're all finished princess." My red-headed maid spoke, nodding at the other maids to leave the room. I stood up, adjusting my dress and smiled widely at how I looked today, I liked my look. "Thank you." I then smiled at the maid, she returned the gesture and left the room. I followed after her, walking to Damien's room. Once I passed down the hallway, his door was wide open, revealing him getting help with his suit from his black-haired maid.

His eyes shifted from the maid's to mine, immediately he curled a large smile, his face brightened. I smiled back, curtsying. "Princess." He spoke, nodding at his maid to leave. She left swiftly, leaving us alone in the room when I walked inside. "Prince, you look marvelous." I began talking.

"You do as well princess." He placed his arm out for me to take. Of course, I took it and he lead me out his room and down the hallway, passing by several guards. We exited the house shortly, guards following our every move towards the car that was to escort us to the nearest beach. A private beach of course. As we approached the car, I could hear screams from fans down the driveway, guards blocking them with tape. I waved confidently at them, then turned my attention to Damien as he opened the door, awaiting me to enter the backseat.

"Why thank you."

"What do you picture your life in 10 years?" Damien asked me as the two of us walked hand-in-hand on the beach together. The waves crashed on the shore, the sounds just soothed me.

"Well, with a husband and two children. Maybe we're king and queen or maybe we're not. I'm fine with either. We'd have a dog and live in the extra house together if we're not king and queen. I would cherish everyday with the man I love..." I placed my head on his shoulder, speaking from my heart.

Damien stood still, looking at me. "What?" I laughed at him gently. He seemed stunned for some reason. "You...you're just so special....your take on life, your hopes and dreams....they're so real."

"I know, that's what I want Damien." I told him seriously. "That's really nice, having a dream about your future..."

"What do you picture your life in 10 years as?"

He took a minute to think as we sat down together on the warm sandy beach. Guards stood ten feet away from us, protecting us. "With you."

I smiled at his comment, holding back my guilt because I couldn't help but think that I like both him and Charlie so I couldn't say that back.

"Do you picture a life with me princess?"

I nodded. "But also with prince Charlie...that's why I can't say anything that will get your...hopes up."

He understood obviously because he gave me a reassuring pat on the back. "That's okay Amanda."

"Thank you for understanding..."

"Of course, I will always understand. Even if you don't choose me. The truth is that I feel something when i'm with you Amanda. I know you can't say anything and it's so early in the process...but it's true."

I took in what he said and gave him a gentle smile. "Thank you." That was all I could think of to say at the moment. I looked up at him and leant forward, giving him a warm kiss. Our lips escaped each other and Damien ran his fingers along my cheek, staring into my eyes.

"You're stunning..." He breathed out.

We locked lips again, kissing softly and passionately. My stomach felt like butterflies were filling up inside.

"Princess, I want to tell you something. If you don't know what to do about me and Charlie. I just want to tell you that I will always be here for you. I will cherish every moment spent with you and remind you that you're so very beautiful every single day. Most importantly, I will be a good husband. I promise."
