Chapter 7: Love and Emotion

Jake's POV

I am honestly really scared to go out there and possibly come across the terrorist, but I need to be a man for this, and a man I will be! The criminal hurt many people, so I definitely WILL NOT feel guilty if I kill him or her. I wasn't near any of the fires, so I don't have any information about them.

Zoe's POV

I know I can find the person who started all of these fires, I just know it! I slept in Jake's bed on accident, so he just slept on the floor. He didn't seem to mind though. I kind of think I like him back, like a lot.

"Jake, I have a question," I told him softly.

"Yes, Zoe," he responded.

"So are we like, a thing? Are we like dating? Are you my boyfriend and am I your girlfriend?" I asked Jake.

"If you want us to be," said Jake.

"Well I kind of, well I trust you, and you are really nice. You are also really...um...really brave. " I said.

"Okay, well are we dating now?" He asked.

"We aren't officially dating until you ask me out..." I said.

"Well Zoe will you go out with me?" He asked with loads of confidence.

"Yes Jake I will, no questions asked." I answered.

"I really hope we find the person who is destroying many villages." He said shedding a few tears.

"Me too Jake. Me too." I said shedding a few tears myself.

Jake's POV

I really love Zoe, and I think I might ask her to move in with me...or maybe it's too soon. For now, I guess we should just stick with hugs, kisses, and investigations.
